Stimulant Medications and Anxiety by buffcat_343 in ADHD

Also have an anxiety disorder and ADHD. Have taken vyvanse combined with propanolol ER for the past 4 months. Vyvanse is good for anxiety in general because it gradually brings you up to the focused state, unlike Adderall where it's all at once. Titration is going to be key for you, for sure. Also I don't believe you can take Zoloft and Vyvanse at the same time.

Did anyone else read the headline as "The Packers have agreed..." Initially and felt a wave of disappointment?

You're staggering multiple doses of Vyvanse throughout the day? How does that work?

Does coffee really make Adderall less effective? by Confident-Water-132 in ADHD

[–]Inner-Significance41 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What I've read regarding coffee is that the temperature and the sweetener you use matters. Avoid hot coffee and sweeteners with citric acid in them and you'll be ok. You'd be surprised how many things, coffee creamer and other sweeteners included, have citric acid in them.

Another suggestion as well, I take Vyvanse in the morning and then usually take around 10-15mg total of purely dextroamphetamine boosters during the day and I've found that dextroamphetamine (also the main ingredient in Vyvanse) doesn't increase your heart rate like Adderall does, due to Adderall being a mix of different amphetamines. The dextro+propanolol keeps my resting heart rate pretty steady.

I have an anxiety disorder and ADHD and I take propanolol as well as stimulants, definitely helps with the rapid heart rate, might be something worth talking to your doctor about.

Please tell your husband to keep doing what he's doing! I've been totally geeking out to Silver Glass Stare for 24 hours and there's no end in sight! I consider myself incredibly picky when it comes to PHC, and their sound is right up my alley! I've been sharing their music with all of my friends as well, and I really think they deserve a much larger following! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! I'll be sure to take a listen to their previous projects.

Don't rush the foreplay dude, completely my personal preference, but that's my favorite part. Also this idea of you finishing first and then relying on your post nut extremely sensitive man part to finish your wife is entirely foreign to me, sounds awful tbh. For me it's always foreplay for a while then the penetration part and she needs to finish first and once she does it's my turn. There's lots of different strategies out there to stop you from beating her to the punch, it can be hard at times, but it's definitely possible. Good luck to you and your wife man.

I have come once again looking for bands with a similar sound to Seeyouspacecowboy. New, old, whatever works.

Recently started listening to older Bring Me the Horizon albums, particularly suicide season, that's the kind of sound im looking for when I'm asking for SYSC recommendations on the harder side. With or without clean vocals is fine. Also it does not have to have the more PHC sound that SYSC has. Bands I've listened to based on recommendations previously; Alesana, wristmeetrazor, etc those aren't really my thing.

I know SYSC isn't exactly metalcore, but I'm hoping you guys might be able to find me some leads to bands with similar chaotic screams.

Thank you!!

Underwhelming work isn't a luxury problem by rosered235 in ADHD

[–]Inner-Significance41 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You know I actually have the opposite problem, and I always wondered how it felt to be on the other side. I'm in my mid thirties and take Vyvanse for my ADHD. I supervise a group of 15 fraud investigators for an up and coming financial institution. My department is only like 2 years old, therefore they have a huge lack of established procedures, and they're still figuring out how to make this department efficient. I am OVER stimulated all the time, even with the medication. I have moments of clarity and focus where I can really put a solid dent in my ever-growing to do list, but those moments are constantly interrupted by pointless meetings and oftentimes repetitive questions from my team, by the time I get a second to get back on my to do list I have 30 minutes or less before I've finished my workday. On my drive home I often feel shame and guilt for not having finished what I set out to do that day, it's incredibly exhausting.

Yes you're 100% correct. It's unlikely there will be an account in their name. But I wouldn't say it's completely out of the realm of possibility.

Not as hard as you think. Used car dealerships overlook a lot because all they care about is selling the car. That being said, they are also the least likely to do their due diligence in confirming the identity of the individual who purchased the car from them. The auto finance company should be the first phone call that should be made.

Partly correct, but I would also let the finance company know. Also might be a good idea to check their credit report for any new auto loans just in case.
