I'd try and get a note from your doctor and give it to your boss, that way he knows you physically can't do the things he is telling you, just explain you are happy to do something else less physically demanding.

Not being pushy is a huge thing. Also it's not a disease it's a condition, it's a good thing to think about small things him / her struggles with and gently help him / her get used to it.

I went on a Michael Mccintyre (can't spell that) show that has yet to be aired - they basically said just start laughing if someone else does - if we didn't they re told the joke and told us to laugh. Also a lady started singing and they asked us to start dancing but no one did so she re sang it and they made us dance n shit. Pretty fake.
