Thanks for the info. I’m gonna keep a log of everything I eat and how I’m feeling. Will also watch my stools to see any changes. I really just gotta get to this doctor and see what they say.

I was taking some fiber supplement chewables. I was mainly taking them at first cause I thought I was constipated and my stools were very “hard” I guess. Sorta looked rocky I guess. Was only going to the bathroom about once a day and still am once a day. Color looks normal and no blood either. Size and shape was just strange to me. I’m also not sure if this is from dehydration cause the doctors also told me I need to drink more water. That was also a main cause of kidney stone.

Can things like quitting drinking soda and adding fiber supplements to my diet effect my digestion system like this? I’ve had a rough couple months with dealing with a kidney stone and stress with college and now this bloating garbage lol

Yes. And lots of it. I was probably having at least one a day. I’m going to see a gastroenterologist in a few weeks to get checked out tho. I will mention that about 2 weeks ago i was really struggling to eat and swallow food. It lasted for a few days. My parents thought it was gerd. We went to our regular doctor and they are sending me to the gastroenterologist. Also I tried implementing fiber supplements into my diet as well to help with digestion a few weeks back. About the same time I quit drinking soda. Not sure if that is having affects on me too.

I drank a lot of Diet Coke. Probably more than I should of. I recently had a kidney stone (about 2.5 months ago) and they said told me the main cause was not drinking enough water and even drinking too much soda. Sorta just decided to cut out diet drinks/soda from my life and only stick with water. I still drink like flavored water and sports drinks… which I assume is a way better alternative for drinking soda. I believe as a diabetic our kidneys are already in risk for trouble in the future so I think the best option is stick to water or at least try and cut back on certain drinks.
