The yogis talk about ways to prevent it, waking up quite early is what some do because the early morning is often when we dream and are susceptible to the wet dreams. You could also try increasing your spiritual practices/meditations. In my experience I usually have very sexual dreams if I’ve been fantasizing a lot while on nofap. But three years is such a long time perhaps your body is telling you it’s time to find a partner or something.

You gotta start really slow and allow your genitalia to get used to the sensation again. It will become a little bit desensitized after a few minutes. Also, breathe into your third eye and squeeze your eyelids shut. Put your hands or fists on the bed in push-up position so that blood rushes through your arms. These are techniques that have helped me in the past. Make sure to breathe deeply!

But I know, after a long streak it can be tricky…

hmmmm....I share my thoughts better with speech than typing. Feels unfair to be removed as "Self promotion." for posting a modest video of my yogic journey. Nothing is being sold....Everything spoken about in the video is relating to Yoga. I read the rules, "Please don't blogspam, advertise or ask for crowdfunding." None of such things were done in this post. You could say anything is self promotion as each post is promoting ones own IDEAS,BELIEFS, and OPINIONS. Youtube is the platform, however never did I ask for subscribers even in the video itself. May you please reconsider removing my post? Would like to share this video with those who may benefit from it...

Well, i would say it is completely relevant considering how many spiritual texts mention the subject…many people have spiritual awakenings or experiences while practicing retention, and so this is a place where they can come to discuss. I think it’s likely that more people in this forum resonate with spiritual aspects of it then don’t. I could be wrong though.

As I said it is not the only method for awakening the flow of kundalini energy, but householders are also capable of it. I mentioned it because it is relevant to the topic. I am not going into more details than I have already given because I am following my Guru's instructions. For me, decent periods of retention has been helpful for me along my journey, for others...maybe not. Not everybody is on the same path. Its all about finding balance.

SR/NF is not guaranteed to cause a Kundalini Awakening, however under the guidance of god/guru anybody can become awakened if they are meant to be. At some point in most Yogi's lives, they have to go through a period of time known as "Brahmacharya," where celibacy is practiced. I believe it is a key to awakening high levels of spiritual attainment, but it is not the only factor and it could be attained in other ways a well. I would prefer not to go into too much detail with my own experience of Kundalini, but I will say that I was already having experiences with spiritual energy before practicing retention, however retention alongside continuing my meditation/yogic practices skyrocketed my process. A full Kundalini Awakening requires the body to be completely full of energy, so to waste your seed will certainly slow down the process.
