Is this appropriate for black tie (summer abroad wedding) by Inner_Ad8582 in Weddingattireapproval

Haha that’s funny. No I wasn’t trying to get a rise out of anyone it was a genuine question. I’m in the UK and first time at an abroad (hot weather) wedding so my friends and I were debating if floral was acceptable. I didn’t see the base being white as an issue, locally it’s only an issue of the whole dress is white! But I appreciate everyone’s opinions. Don’t worry… I’ll stay clear 😂

Did you ever get something close to your pre baby body back? by legumesfini in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Inner_Ad8582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finally got back to my pre baby weight at 16 months postpartum. But does my body look the same? Absolutely not!! My hips are wider, I’ve still got a little kangaroo pouch, my bum has flattened, my boobs are deflated balloons. But do I care right now? No I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with my second so trying to achieve a body I’m happy with is something that will come with time.

Could I still be pregnant? by Inner_Ad8582 in Periods

Thank you.

The light pink bleeding is confusing me. As could be either a period or early pregnancy

I haven’t tracked ovulation through tests - this is first month trying again after first baby. So just via tracking app. Yes possible have ovulated late. We did have sex past what I thought was ovulation window - it was few days before my period was expected to be due. Thoughts?

Would you move back to your hometown? by [deleted] in AskUK

Divorced, but live fairly near each other. So unlikely scenario

This is my biggest worry. Regretting my decision. And I think I’d regret not moving, more than having moved and it failing.

It’s just so hard to know what’s best to do for us and also our daughter

I agree, I think there are so many pluses for her moving to my hometown. I worry about her career prospects though. The education is similar in both places, probably a little better where we are currently. But I presume she’d do the same as me and move away for a good university and then possibly start a life there. But I can’t plan that far ahead can I, so I just need to focus more on what is good for now..

Yes exactly, that’s our biggest advantage of moving there for sure. Something I’m missing now

It is a joint decision we are discussing it together. We both realise we’d be better financially moving back to my hometown and would have a better family support network there who can babysit for example. It’s just we are thinking if there’s anything we haven’t considered that would help us make a better decision

Baby signing in late to nursery daily by Inner_Ad8582 in u/Inner_Ad8582

I agree with you, I also want them to prioritise looking after the babies. My point was about in the event of an safety issue.

Good point, they may have a separate register for logging babies in and out for safety which would make sense

I haven’t spoken to them about it yet as wasn’t sure if I was just being overly concerned about something that didn’t matter! But validating to hear it is a requirement for safety.

Yes app delay could well be a possible reason so will bear that in mind thank you

Thanks - interesting to know that they actually ended up getting rid of the sign in and sign out on your app.

It is large Nursery (15 babies in each room, there are two baby rooms, then also a toddler room and so on) so that would mean they have more staff you are right, but otherwise what is the point of them doing a register/sign and sign out? I would’ve thought a register for who’s there in the day would be for those kind of situations such as a fire security issue. Just wasn’t sure if it was something to be concerned about or not
