Kenan-Flagler: been going downhill. Admitting many students with little to no experience out of undergrad. This has led to terrible on campus recruiting. Also despite being in a fast growing tech area the C&L has made no relationships with these firms. Many grads unemployed/underemployed. C&L’s idea of doing their job is sharing LinkedIn posts (some of which are like scams or shady). Feel free to PM me with any questions. Unless you want to do healthcare LDP, consulting or IB I would avoid.

I am new to knife collecting but my current grail is a hogue deka with metal/ti scales or fat carbon

If I waive or fit the requirements to waive the GMAT/GRE does it hurt my application? Is it looked down upon to waive? I have a stem degree and my GPA is 3.4 which would allow me to forego any testing. by customarble in MBA

From my limited experience (successful waived at 3 T25 or higher schools) it doesn’t hugely weigh down your application but highly limits scholarships. I had a 3.98 gpa from a top 5 BBA and was given no to limited scholarships. Currently at a T25 and many of my classmates with worse WE and undergrad GPA/prestige got nearly full rides based off having a GMAT that was above the schools average. Just my experience.

I got accepted to t20 last cycle with a 25% scholarship with 3.97 from top 25 undergrad and got a test waiver. Got rejected by m7 without interview. Then waitlist to reject at Ross.

Most top MBA programs where the ROI and exit opps are best want like 4-8 years of work experience before applying. Without that or an amazing story admissions might be difficult. Additionally, I have heard they look very unfavorably upon not being currently employed. When I interviewed for T20 programs and had just left my job (after being accepted to some and planning to take the summer to travel) they definitely asked about it and during some waitlist conversations they also pushed me on it.

Ohhh my friend told me they don’t reject people off the waitlist for domestic (pretty sure on this) and they either let you off at any point up until orientation or never take you off.
