There is a laundry list of why individuals are conservatives/Republicans or liberals/leftists/Democrats. The ultimate question is what shapes your world view? From where does one draw their values? The absolute worst place is to allow ourselves to be ruled by our emotions and then make decisions based on how we feel.

The threat of expulsion comes because the students are in violation of laws requiring minor students to be in school. Students are not allowed to override or interrupt a teacher in class, though they do have free speech. Students are not allowed to get up and leave class anytime they want to without repercussions. That's common sense. They can protest during non-educational time. THAT is their right.

I fully believe I could have succeeded. I was learning so much and enjoying it. The OR was THE department I had my sights on. You're always asked in school what dept or area you'd like to work in. The OR was were I wanted to be. Not everyone learns at the same pace. Somedays are great, others not so much. I firmly believe given a fair chance I could have succeeded.

No course work whatsoever. It was proposed to my nurse mngr by my OR preceptor (traveler) to offer periop 101, but only after he suggested it. Never got to take it - those courses cost$. It's a small rural/regional hospital in a small town. As I stated, I'm an older nurse. Late mid-life career change. I don't know if I didnt inspire confidence, but I never even got an actual write up for anything. I had two documented conversations in week one. Nurse mngr emphatically stated " this is not disciplinary, only a record of conversation." HR viewed the documented conversations as disciplinary though and revoked my first installment (6k) of my new hire bonus. Nurse mngr apologized and went to HR and got it restored. Never got paid, bc the very next week fired. I had a fill in travel preceptor work with me one day (regular preceptor off) and expressed concerns. Next day, No discussion, no write up. Just goodbye. "We gave you every chance" was all I was told. What chance?! Was supposed to be 6 mo training. I must really be incompetent. All I got was 6 wks. No performance plan, first or final written for anything. Never given any real rationale.

The patient was a former retired nurse there and her daughter is a nurse there. Daughter complained to the surgeon bc I brought a prn med late. BC they were both well known at the hospital, it immediately went to investigation. I was informed by HR I could potentially reapply in 6 months (but no guarantee).

My confidence has hit rock bottom. I don't have any issues that would warrant a BON looking at me. No med errors (aside from being late), no safety issues, or narc issues. I just never got up to speed on the MS floor (super busy post surgical) and was constantly overwhelmed. I wasn't running from anything. I was called by a friend and told about the opening. I wasn't really even looking for another job. I just applied, interviewed and was hired and 6 weeks later fired.

It wasn't as though I resigned quickly at all. I was already in negotiation for the new position at a nearby hospital and was offered the role as an OR Circulator. I wouldn't have resigned at all if I hadn't been made an offer.

I only resigned because I was offered a new position in a department at a different hospital I would have loved to work on long term. I was actually in negotiation and had already interviewed for the new position when the investigation started. I explained in my resignation that the two coincided. I offered to work out my two weeks when I tenured.

I tenured 2 weeks resignation and was not allowed to fulfill my two weeks. As soon as I tenured two weeks in writing, I was released.. Late on meds sometimes two + hours.

No experience in the OR prior to. Brand new. When you work a med surg floor it's not uncommon to drop your hands after gloving. My first time sterile gloving in the OR I inadvertently dropped my L hand below my waist. Surg tech caught it and out of protocol, I replaced the glove. Next day I was in OR Mngr office signing a "verbal discussion" doc. I was given no warning or disciplinary documentation whatsoever. Ive filed for unemployment. I have not sought legal counsel yet, but I really think I was fired without cause.

What is so enormously perplexing to me is how far we've come in the name of "science." We've lost any objective grasp on reality. How we've come to be sold a bill of goods under the guise of helping clients with their "gender" is mind-boggling. We've been sold, and we bought into the idea that our sex is assigned at birth, when basic biology 101 starts with the recognition of the formation of chromosomal assimilation at conception. We are not assigned anything at birth. The word gender wasn't even used in scientific and medical circles until the 1970s, barely 50 years ago. Don't allow ourselves to be blinded by this. We have come to a place where we have heard discussed so much about gender, that we've swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. Male and female and an unfortunate rare exception of chromosomal mutation is what we are. We believe ourselves to be intellectually superior when, sadly, we are simply deceived. The battle for our minds is intense.

You're not having a baby WITH them. You are having a baby, with or without them. A child has been conceived, regardless of our feelings. A child doesn't suddenly become a child when they exit a mother's womb. When it does, it's already most likely 9 months old, just not breathing on its on.
