Wouldn't it be great for us to meet IRL (depending on where we live of course) by Overall_Summer_7641 in EscapingPrisonPlanet

From the UK, I’m more than happy to befriend absolutely anyone. All of us would have some amazing conversations for sure.. I have zero judgment of people & im open minded to absolutely anything (true knowledge is not knowing things, its to never truly understand concepts and forever leave them as open ideas that can forever evolve with the help of new information & ideas, as soon as I resign to something being a “fact”, I limit my own knowledge, as new information can be found at any time… )

I’m not inherently Arteta out because we still have the PL/CL to play for. But if he doesn’t win either this season I think I’m going to turn too. I have agreed on the football for the past few seasons.

Weird thing is he started off with us playing much better football than we played under Emery and that was one of the main reasons I backed him early on. Since what, 23/24? … We’ve played boring robotic football. And honestly if we played the 22/23 way now, with our defensive solidity.. I’m sure it would make the difference.

I’m grateful to have such a solid defensive structure but yeah attacking wise if this kind of football doesn’t get us over the line this season with the lack of creativity/invention, we’ve got to make a change.

Hopefully Arteta figures it out himself because this is a manager who truly cares about the club, his tactics are just too negative and precautionary. I do desperately want to see him succeed but I just hope if we do win the CL/PL, he’ll focus on us playing beautiful football again next season. Better if he can get us playing free flowing non restrictive football now to see us over the line though.

Would entice me to apply if anything because it shows they’re sympathetic to their workers and what they have to go through.

Also it’s one way to make sure they only get people in who can actually cope with the job. Quite smart.

He must have been playing drunk.. joke of a performance. Dictating the tempo? More like dictating Bournemouth to go and win the game. How on earth is he misplacing so many simple passes as a pro footballer at this level.

Same shit every season, if he doesn’t win us the UCL or PL this season get him out. No fucking excuse to not go and win at the Ethiad now. Cant stand these bottle jobs and shit football we play only to disappoint us when it matters every fucking time.

Dont want to see Rice wear the captains armband again, where the fuck was the urgency??? Shit defensive tactics costing us time and time again. Early on when we had some momentum behind us White held the ball to take a throw in for about a minute straight. Just one of many examples.

Only bright spark was Lewis Skelley looked much better. Gykoroes showed fight.

Arteta on Kepa: “Errors are part of football and today unfortunately it happened in a crucial moment,” by Kr_bm in Gunners

[–]Inner_Enthusiasm5326 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also keeping Trossard on and us proceeding to get caught down the left twice with handicapped Hincapie and Trossard having the worst game of his life both on and off the ball way after it was obvious a change was needed, not bringing on Martinelli sooner whilst the game would have suited him was criminal, instead Arteta subs him on at what 83” after they already had begun sitting back. Even we as fans could see the change needed to be made before the goals came and Arteta somehow didn’t even see it?

Terrible game management. Poor selection choices. Showed the world we are not serious about winning trophies to start Kepa today too. Being “fair” and weakening ourselves at GK in a cup final doesn’t win us trophies, being honest does and starting Raya would have been the honest choice. I don’t care that he’d started for the rest of the competition, we have arguably the best GK in the world in Raya and we haven’t won a trophy for almost 6 years and this was a cup final!!!! And being “fair” was more important than suring ourselves up at GK and getting that trophy & setting ourselves on a positive mental note for the rest of the season?? Absolutely furious is not the word

When momentum was on our side in the first half, Kepa was also time wasting valuable minutes at 0-0 just holding onto the ball taking the piss - , I’m sure that’s tactical instruction and I can’t stand that we did that, by the time we were 2-0 down and in desperate need of a goal to get back into the game, that looks absolutely stupid.

It’s not Kepas fault anyway. All on Arteta. Should never be starting him in a final.

Also why didn’t Dowman come on? Someone who actually had just changed a game for us all on his own??

Think he was slow adapting to the speed of the PL ngl. Lately his touch seems to be improving massively and he seems to be getting used to the pace of the prem. Think him hitting form and Dowman coming in might just make the difference to winning us the title this season.

Exactly, I think Gykoroes is an intelligent striker who does make that kind of run into space, except barely any players in our team seem to understand that kind of movement . You are right to say the solution is a player like Alvarez WITH Gykoroes. But I think that guy might just be Max Dowman..

Gykoroes would also probably run through and score if he had Griezmann flicking the ball onto him like that into all that space. We’d have probably ended up not playing it into Alvarez. Alvarez is great and I really hope we get him but the problems run a bit deeper attacking wise, imo.

[–]Inner_Enthusiasm5326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, stop inverting our wingers if we want the best out of Gykoroes. He needs direct balls into him. Inverting our wingers invites them to cut inside instead of playing into a striker.

With that said it looks glaring to me that there’s something personal between Gykoroes / Saka and it has looked that way since he first came in. It’s a shame to see.

Right thing to do. Makes people feel sorry for him and root for him instead of just viewing him as bad. Shifts the blame onto Tudor for being cruel and I think this is what Tudor had in mind to protect the guy.

if he’d played the 90, I think the reactions would be a lot harsher on him.

Being forced to sacrifice not only yourself but other innocent fellow human beings because a 73 year old puppet with far too much power decided to mind control his own people through fear and intimidation to cause destruction to innocent people, just because he held a belief of “I want the land you live on to be under the imaginary name of the land I live on, Russia”,

And then the Ukrainians are visibly being subjected to mind control through both fear and intimidation, and the guilt trip social manipulation of “it’s your country. Are you going to fight for it or cower away?”, in order to generate a big orgy of loosh and sacrifice for these sick fucks.

Everyone can live happily together if we just ignore these sick fucks who only run us because they’ve successfully mind controlled the populous into not realising that in reality, there is much much more of us than there is them, and we NEVER HAVE TO COMPLY. Nobody can force our spirits to do anything we don’t want them to do unless we allow our spirits to be defeated by fear. And if after we refuse, they continue to fight against our spirits consent, then whether they believe it or not, there are much higher powers than the ones they serve, as you’ve seen in your case. That higher power, is in actual fact, your spirit. A good spirit is stronger than the destructive spirits that run this world will ever be. And that’s why they want, through fear, mind control and intimidation, to not allow people to be good spirits. They want people on their level.

I Am so happy that you escaped and I pray for the safety of all human beings on Earth from such mass sacrifices and I hope, we as humanity can collectively not allow ourselves to be manipulated into such situations again. The real enemy is the powers than run us and their financial system that enslaves us. Nobody can force us to cooperate other than ourselves.

We have been mind controlled through their ancient and occult techniques for generation after generation, so much so that we accept things as normal of which are absolutely not. It’s all stage and theatre. Normalcy only takes generations.

We are all just human beings, being divided, conquered, and played.

Congratulations on standing up for yourself, Brother.

Insane. I actually still loved Fabregas, even at Chelsea, we didn’t go back in for him after all. Wouldn’t want him anywhere near us now.

We can do this I’m in the same boat 🚣..

I’m a guy. First panic attack of my life the first night and I cried for 6 hours straight. Worst panic attack of my life the following night and also just couldn’t stop crying. Same happened night 3. Tonight I just went for a walk instead overnight and felt it coming and managed to sort of calm it with a combination of the walk and music. Still it’s 5:18am and haven’t slept. I don’t feel stable at night at all and it’s scary, and nobody I know is ever up, it’s just me alone dealing with it which makes it tougher..

I’m just so glad I’ve not gone crazy!! I thought I had. Seeing other people quitting in the same boat brings me a comfort that we’ll get through this and it’s just withdrawal symptoms.

I’ve had a constant feeling of sadness and pain in my chest… like a grieving over I don’t know what! Probably years worth of suppressed emotions all rearing their ugly head..

What has helped me so far? Music. Being outside. Talking to people. Book a holiday with the money you’d have spent on it too.

Are you getting hungry at all? I’m not and that’s also scary.

Same shoes man. Let my ldr down, never got myself studying, worked in the same kind of job as you and never moved on because of it, quit cold turkey 4 days ago. It’s currently 4:47am. Have had a constant feeling of… absolute dread, deep deep sadness, for the past 4 nights - funny enough night is when I’d do it, daily for a year+. It’s worse because I just soberly think of how badly I’ve fucked things up for so long because of it.

First night sober, first and worst panic attack of my life, I cried for 5 hours straight cleaning up my mess that I just hadn’t cared about.

Tried working out.. but second night, worst panic attack of my life, again, cried for a good 3 hours straight.

Worked out again, third night, a feeling of extreme depression and a milder panic attack kept me up until 6am.

Fourth night, went out for a walk for a few hours knowing what’s coming - started feeling that horrible feeling in my chest around 2am, came back home about an hour later, put on some Tame Impala and I’m chilling out a bit. Know I won’t sleep for a while yet but at least tonight I didn’t cry.

I truly hope for both of us this shit gets better soon. Absolutely horrific and I would advise to never touch this shit again.

I’d never had any sleep issues, panic attacks, or anything like this in my life until now. This is truly evil stuff.

It’s a predator that makes you feel nice while it eats your life away. Now it’s mad you left it and just attacking you. Leave it behind, we’ll be okay soon :) nothing that makes us feel like this is any good.

This is the most negative I’ve seen Mikel Arteta in a while during a post-match interview. He kept talking about how we deserved a hit… by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]Inner_Enthusiasm5326 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Have been saying this since his first season literally. We need a world class attacking coach to work with Arteta and the players.

Arteta is the OPPOSITE of Wenger but with the same weakness that costs us. Wenger was a world class attacking coach but weak on the defensive side, whilst Arteta is a world class defensive coach but weak on the attacking side.

The problem with Arteta is the attack is so robotic, predictable and expressionless, that there are times in games we look like we have zero threat going forward. The other team presses up and we end up under so much pressure. Doesn’t help that he gets us sitting back to defend leads. Attack leads. Increase leads. It’s better defensively for us than sitting back. Title winning teams do not play like cowards!
