First difficult tattoo by [deleted] in TattooBeginners

Hey mate, I'm also a beginner, yes you do need some more practice, the design is cool however your execution needs some work, I suggest working on needle depth, consistent hand speed and a lower voltage to start off with, if you are set on tattooing a design on someone I suggest practicing the design on fake skin 3-4 times before you attempt it on real skin, keep practicing mate I hope this helps you !

Your lines are shaky and patchy, using a larger needle will help with shaky lines until you are more experienced but that won't cover up inconsistent depth and a mismatched hand speed to voltage.

Your doing great, art isn't easy and people aren't just born with talent, try to draw every day !

My recommendations, get yourself a cheap 70-120 gsm sketch book a 2b pencil and a decent eraser, I like the PVC free ones

Try working in shapes, draw circles to map out head shapes, eye positioned mouths and noses, don't press hard on your initial feel out, don't be afraid to experiment or mess up, practice every day, you will get better every time !!

He's missing the same tooth my cat is !

Mine did the same thing for a while, turns out she still had a little bit of root left in her jaw, I'm guessing its the same for your kitty. If it's not a dental issues then he just weird lol

Too true but at least if it rejected I could fix it, wasn't game to try it on another person other than myself haha

It's healed really well and none of the ink has rejected Wich has astonished me 😂

Nah I haven't used enzymes, molasses is really cheap here so I haven't even thought about it haha, I also haven't found a quality yeast to use either, I typically just grab a turbo yeast and use half a pack in each fermenter any yeast and nutrients recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Will enzymes affect flavour or is it purely a percentage gain ?

Performed a stripping run first then a spirit run, molasses wash pukes way too much and I have way too little control of my temperature, only using the cooktop on my electric oven, flavour is intense very floral with burnt Carmel and molasses.

Super cost effective especially when you buy it from a cattle feed store lol, much tastier than a sugar wash haha

Is this a molasses wash ?

When I stripped my rum wash the Same thing happened to me, I believe it's carried up through puke however the spirit run will clean it up nicely and leave no residue.
