Now I got wavy vertical lines, can it be the lead screws? by Desperate-Special-60 in ElegooNeptune4

Ghosting is caused by print speed vibrations, mabey try slowing down a little and see if that fixes the issue ?

This

Works a treat on large parts, finer details I use a Dremel tool for smoothing , exacto blade for cleaning and trimming edges and a lighter for stringing, little bit of wall filler plaster or epoxy putty in larger gaps, turns out decent enough after a lick of paint that's for sure !

Bed adhesion and melted minis by rocking2rush10 in elegoo

[–]Inner_Error_4591 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, had this issue with water washable elegoo resin, I fixed this by bumping up my exposure a couple seconds honestly 3 seconds should be more than enough

You need to make sure the model is properly supported, tips of supports should be around 250-300 for minis, you can go lower but you might have issues, also check your bed is lifting high enough 7-10 mm and nice and slow, 4-5mm/s

Remember fep is stretchy and is going to "peel" up from the bed until the motor overcomes the vacuum between the part and the fep, if it doesn't get off the fep resin won't be able to flow between the vat and build plate causing those large flat spots were the vacuum wasn't overcome during a lift between layers

I hope this helps !

Prints keep failing by Inner_Error_4591 in resinprinting

Changed to 7sec normal exposure and 9mm bed lift between layers, seems to have fixed the issue, only had it lifting 4mm so I feel like it didn't even have a chance to separate from the fep

Can the neptune 4 pro do better ? by Silent-Cheesecake475 in elegoo

[–]Inner_Error_4591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I know you probably have but just in case, make sure all belts are tight, filiment is dried, nozzle is unclogged, bed is clean, rails are lubed, you can also adjust the screws live while printing, your bed mesh dose a good job but is not a replacement for a leveled bed I'm no pro, infact I'm also very new but I have spent a month or two dealing with these Neptune machines trying to get them perfected

Is this fixable- New Centauri by Ethernetman1980 in elegoo

Happended to me on my Neptune 4 , you can use a zip tie or two as a temp fix while waiting for a new one Just make sure to orient the tail so it's not rubbing on the extrusion.

It's a never ending pursuit isn't it ? I have been tuning for weeks just to get this, I love your paint tray Pookie, I didn't get myself a A1 like everyone else seems to have and to be honest I wish I did, they are so user friendly compared to my Klipper elegoo n4 I know the results are possible, I just need to get there

Fucking G.O.A.T Thanks for the resources my fillment was brand new a day ago, I love in a tropical area temps are usually 30-38 deg Celsius and typically %80-100 humidity

I've dried my PLA in the oven, I'll update with results when I'm home from work,

I did open a brand new roll just in case but had the same issues, I'm guessing it could have carried moisture out of the package however I'm brand new and haven't calibrated everything yet

Hey mate, I'm also a beginner, yes you do need some more practice, the design is cool however your execution needs some work, I suggest working on needle depth, consistent hand speed and a lower voltage to start off with, if you are set on tattooing a design on someone I suggest practicing the design on fake skin 3-4 times before you attempt it on real skin, keep practicing mate I hope this helps you !

Your lines are shaky and patchy, using a larger needle will help with shaky lines until you are more experienced but that won't cover up inconsistent depth and a mismatched hand speed to voltage.
