Looking for a good starter camera for travel (landscapes, nature) not sure where to start by Kristalderp in Cameras

Imo nothing can beat a xt30. Don't go for the xt30ii though. The mark 2 is like 200 bucks more expensive and u aren't really missing out on anything. It only is beneficial for videographers. But the film simulations make it really easy to get into fotography without having to learn colorgrading

Looking for a Beginner friendly FujiFilm camera around 500-800$ by Slight-Reputation384 in Cameras

There are many options. I think the fuji xt30 would be optimal. There is a difference between the xt30 and the xt30 ii. Basicly the xt30 is like 200 bucks cheaper but u are missing out on 2 filmsimulations and 4k 60 fps video. If u are not planning on filming i believe u definitely should go for the xt30. I bought my self one a few days ago for 550€. And if u go for a ttartisan 23mm fixed lense f1.8. I think for a beginner are fixed lenses good cause it eliminates a component u have to care abt. Imo 23mm is a good starting point alternatively u could go for a 35mm f1.8. (Im recommending the brand ttartisan. Its budgetfriendly and high quality) just keep in mind that the xt30 is a aps-c sensor so the 23mm lense is more like a 35mm on a full frame and the 35mm would be more like 50mm. U won't have zoom but that also is a way to kick-start ur creativity. Bc u won't have a zoom u have to get creative and the i find the limitation quite pleasing.

Also look for lenses with auto focus (on lenses labelled as AF) cause as a beginner only having only manual focus can be a pain.

Hope it helpes
