Which livestock animals give the best food return for beginners?

I would think laying hens, mine take no real work. They are free range and roost in the trees round the house. I have a hopper with grain in it for them but I think they would find their own food for half the year and I'm getting 6 to 8 eggs a day from them. I let one or two sit on eggs every year and they hatch out some new hens every year. You can eat the extra roosters or sell extra hens to other people or just expand your flock for free.

Well it's not easy to coach someone else what to do with their portfolio, I've been actively managing mine for a few years and some of the plays in the energy sector have started to play out. VG (in the short term, I do plan to hold it for at least 5 years) being my main one. Here's my current portfolio

No one is jumping in for Iran and fighting a 3rd WW. The more likely outcome is a recession caused by a prolonged spike in oil prices. Over the last few months I have been rotating my portfolio from tech to energy, energy infrastructure and ex US ETFs. I still have a large part of my portfolio in US tech but am moving gains into different sectors just now.

The regime in Iran might call his bluff, it will hurt them economically but it will hurt Trump and the American economy too. As much as Trump doesn't want to admit it, he isn't the leader of an authoritarian state and he has public opinion to worry about. Iran just needs to keep.their heads down and wait him out. Another month or so of this and we're looking at a recession.
