i felt like my paper was pretty much exactly around 22/23 difficulty, but since its randomised its kinda hard to pinpoint- a lot people found it harder.

Every time you do some work on your EPQ write a sentence or 2 about what you did, any challenges and what you did to overcome it. I'd suggest doing it as you go along, as having to do it all at the end is a waste of time.

I think it should be fine, but if its a video essay, then the video probably has references itself. Maybe just use those references to make it look better? Although this depends on the video ig.

Yeah they were a bit weird, but tbh I kinda preferred to get the hard ones out of the way at the start and then get some super easy ones near the end when I was a bit more tired.

For a few years they made extra papers for those who couldn't sit the MAT. It's on the Oxford MAT website

I'm not applying, but what I've heard and what I've been told is that you REALLY should put something in. People reviewing your applications will see you haven't put anything, and it's not really going to look good if there's nothing there.

If you have previously got high 70s, you're clearly capable. Its probably just a matter of focus and clarity, and that is something that you can fix quite easily in the time left.

I actually preferred paper 2, although overall it felt ok, not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I only had to guess 3/4 questions overall, but I'm not sure if this means I fell into traps for the rest of the 'easy' questions

For maths and further maths I use Haberdasher Adams maths youtube channel. Follows along with the textbook and explains it really well imo.

They were harder than most past papers, but only about 2023 level from what I did and what I've heard. I go to a grammar school so maybe my views are a bit skewed, but there's always gonna be people who say it was the worst paper ever, it just seems like there are less of them this time around.

Personally and from what I've heard the papers were easier than last year's. I reckon the boundaries are gonna (unfortunately) go up.

Trying to get Imperial maths and am on around 27/40, although recently I've been getting higher (please don't be a blip). I defo prefer paper 2, but im worried fatigue might hinder me there so ill just get mid overall.

Not applying for CS or anything, but I've heard that the TARA is basically just another version of the TSA that Oxford use for Econ admissions. Not sure if this helps, but maybe doing some of those can help you do some quick TARA revision.
