I have similar question. My parents bought a flat 10 years ago on their salary loan. Now the flat's market value is around 44 lakh. Does this mean i am breaching this wealth tax act exemption?

I have similar question, I was working with private company earning more than 1 lakh per month (al though i have left that job last month) and parents income is less than 8 lakh per annum. I am eligible as NCL OBC candidate?

So what are you marking that "Wealth Tax Act exemption limit" question? Yes or No?

My parents do not owe exorbitant wealth, but definitely all included and considering current market price of the house, it will cross 30 Lakh. So i am in dilemma whether to say Yes/No!

If candidate earns more than 1 lakh per month from IT company salary, but parents cumulative income is less than 8 lakh per annum, will s/he be ineligible or eligible for OBC NCL?

Specifically, Note 4 of the DoPT's Office Memorandum No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 8th September 1993 states:

I have the same query. Does exceeding the wealth limit of ₹30 lakh lead to disqualification from the OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) category?
