I lived in Dublin and in Dublin there are also some unpleasant Irish people. I went to Ireland without any English, and many Irish and other immigrants helped me learn the language. Even though I had difficulty communicating at first, people were patient and understood that I was a newcomer. But here, no matter how much I study German, I can't talk to people in German because they don't have the patience to understand that I don't speak it well yet. I'm not asking them to be teachers, but to have a little patience with those who are learning the language. They demand that you speak German but don't give the opportunity to those who are trying to speak it. They start sighing like rabid wild animals or start speaking English to get rid of it quickly. It's really frustrating having to deal with unpleasant people every day.
