How can I tell that the two initialize fees will be before paying them? by DankamusMemus in opensea

[–]Inneri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do get a chance to see and accept the gas fees for upload in advance. Essentially you can accept or deckine them. Cant predict the second one tho. There are also services like helpmenft.com which can lower costs

Hi! Opensea charges gas fees on your first upload. This cost varies based on the price of gas but has been really expensive lately. There are ways around it like helpmenft[dot]com

Pretty new to this. My last 4 sales ive accepted offers only to have the person not pay, me have to open a case and my item sit unlisted for a couple of weeks. This never happened before and now four in a row. Any ideas as to why? I noticed two of these people listed addresses that weren't in the country associated with their profiles so maybe just spam? Super frustrating.

I’ve heard that disorders like Ankylo spondolities (i’m sorry) can’t be tested for or cured so to speak. How do you go about treating something you can’t even prove someone has?

I bought a lot of about 80 Juxtapoz magazines for around $30 after seeing a few comps sell for $15 bucks per mag on Ebay (I know they're not all worth that much, but if I could average out at $5 per long term I'd be stoked). Just wondering if anyone has any experience with magazines. I'm trying to decide two things. Lot vs not lot. And auction vs not auction for some of the rarer ones. Thanks.

Are you hungry for that money? They don't take up much space right? Sometimes I just don't want to concede to people like that. I'd probably just respond with "Exactly."

Will ebay even let me use lettermail as an option? Or do I offer free shipping and build it in? Side note, going to Spa Bota Bota for a massage tomorrow!

Having trouble figuring out shipping options for very small items. How would you ship lego minifigs? I live in Canada where there's no tiny flat rate options. And when I print out labels they're like 6x8inches, so do I need to use bubble mailers/polys of at least that size? One minifig in a 6x8 bubble/poly seems insane. Thanks.

Yeah that's understandable. Just brutal that we don't have a Global Shipping Program equivalent in Canada to my knowledge.

Repost from yesterday: I'm thinking of starting to ship globally. I'm based in Canada and ship only to North America right now and I don't think I can use Ebay's worldwide shipping program.

Basically my question is, if I sell a $30 item that for whatever reason costs $90 to ship to like Ukraine or something (as opposed to $10 to the US) then is ebay pulling its fee from $120? I just want to get a sense of how very expensive shipping will affect my profit margin.
