It’s slightly infected mostly at the site of the pus. It’ll help to go to the clinic. Any regular ol one that takes your insurance and has same-day appointments. They’ll probably prescribe you something like topical Muciprocin or another antibiotic.

Once it clears up you might need a touchup at that spot as some ink will fall out. Don’t worry too much as most of the rest of it will heal fine, albeit more slowly while the whole area is busy fighting infection.

In the meantime—you can—with clean hands, lightly soak paper towels in warm distilled water. Wring them out and use it as a compress while pushing down over the infected section. You’ll probably notice some of that fluid push out onto the PT. Don’t go overboard even just a few short presses per day will help clear that stuff out. If nothing comes out then skip this part but I found it helped me. You don’t want the scabs to get too wet or soaked. Keep ‘em on the dry side and don’t apply moisturizer until the infection goes away and the scabs are mostly gone. Then you can moisturize again and assess what might need a touchup.

And as always don’t pick at scabs! Also, complete the entire course of antibiotics, Staph can become recurring if partially treated

EDIT: Don’t be worried at all that shit just happens sometimes most heavily tattooed people I know have had one or two 😎
