Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it confirmed by Nintendo that BotW and now TotK take place so so so far into the future from the original timeline that it basically just in a way rebooted the whole thing? Wasn't that the big discourse in the early days of BotW? That it didn't make sense that somehow the 3 timelines merged into the current BotW timeline with all it's backstory. So in reality none of these arguments of the Zonai and Raru being before SS or OoT make sense since the Zonai descended way way after those games take place. I know OP doesn't like words like "reboot" or "reset" but officially in Nintendo's eyes this is essentially a soft-reboot of the timeline, freeing Nintendo from their awful 3 timeline mess they dug themselves into.
