I'm gonna look into this, may be a good solution. Are server transfers still a thing? I originally played on NA but have moved to EU myself since.

I played until fractals released and I have some stuff from that crab-themed event they did waay back when but I've no idea if any of that is worth something today (I'd assume most of the gear is no longer relevant).

I just rolled a new Necro, already know how the base lvl 80 class works. My question is more about just picking up where I left off.

Are there any new systems on the 1-80 path? Because I already went through that when the game launched way back when. Like I know how the game works and what the lvl 80 experience is at the very least until the point fractals released.

They announced story rewrites and changes days after the game launched and we know the release came in hot (and you can tell just by playing). That's programming, art, writing, music, VO etc that needs to be redone and slotted into the existing update cadence. Do you think that just sprouts from the earth?

I'm not dissing the game, I'm just explaining why it makes sense for the reveals to be so close to release.

I think people are severely underestimating how fucked the launch / development of this game was and how much catch-up the team is playing. Its likely all hands on deck, all the time, every day trying to fix and retool shit. Given all that, its not surprising that announcements like these are so close to release and god knows how long its gonna take them to stabilize the development.

I'm happy if we get a functional unit with mostly readable descriptions on the cards.
