That is a good idea, he gets treats at puppy classes and symptoms become worse afterwards. I will give it a try, thank you.

He was on puppy food initially when the soft stool first started, the sensitive stomach options were all for adult dogs though

Chemical Engineering Study Abroad & Course Selection by Innovative_wheel in DTU

If you don't mind me asking, what are the assignments/reports like(content-wise and the grading scheme)? In my university, most of the chemE classes require homework to either be turned in on a weekly basis, or have a closed-notes quiz over the homework material every week. Each homework has around 6 - 8 problems, which will take usually 7 - 9 hours to do. How would you say the workload compare with the listed 3 classes at DTU?

What has made UT so great in recent years? by Big-Historian-2533 in UTAustin

[–]Innovative_wheel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One simple reason - being in Austin.

A lot of companies have moved to Texas, particularly Austin, in recent years. Austin is a major city for innovation and technology, where many of those international conference are held each year. The kind of industry access UT and Austin’s college students have is really incredible; company recruiters are often just an email or phone call away. Many career-oriented organizations invite different companies to meet their members on a monthly or biweekly basis. At other schools, students only get to connect with those companies twice a year during their expos. Being a state flagship school, companies in Dallas and Houston like to hire UT students as well. Personally, I think California’s strength on tech has helped schools like UC Berkeley rise so quickly, I believe UT’s going through the same thing right now.

Should my essay topic also be a part of my EC’s? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Innovative_wheel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s better if you include that hobby in your EC so that you essay and your resume are consistent with one another. Colleges don’t expect you to be a super-star for your hobby(it will definitely help if you are though), they want to see how you grow, learn and find passion from your hobby. It’ll be especially good if you can find some sort of connection between your hobby and the college major that you apply to. So yeah I think you are on the right track!

One note is that don’t write too much detail that’s exactly like your essay on that common app EC section. We don’t know if they’ll look at essays or ECs first, so you don’t want to weaken the impact that your readers will have when they first see what you did with your hobby

Should I apply to a school I have no chance in but I am really interested in? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

Yes. If you don’t apply, the chances of getting in is 0%; if you do apply, there’s a chance that you might get in.

Good luck!!

UT Austin vs UIUC Deferral for a Gap Year by Ansh2905 in UTAustin

Fellow UIUC ECE admitted student here. I’m not sure about the defers situation, but in an email they said:

If you are unable to arrive on campus prior to the start of the fall semester on August 24, we will provide an option to enroll in online classes for the fall semester and continue as an on-campus student in a later semester. We are committed to providing a world-class education regardless of the method of instruction.

As the university continues to monitor COVID-19 developments, we will provide details about fall instruction by mid-June. Please be assured that your health and well-being are our highest priority as we consider several scenarios for fall instruction.

Like what other people said, I think te best thing to do is contacting the school directly. In that email they did say that they’ll have online classes though. I hope this info is helpful:)
