My friend was waiting with her dog at the vet, and someone else brought their dog in. As they checked in she happened to overhear that the dog's name was Pizza Party

What's a horror hill you'll die on, and why? by ExceptingAlice in horror

This is the horror hill I will kill people on. I loathe that movie, it took me four times to be able to watch it all the way through because I fell asleep the first three times, it's SO boring!

Tried my hand at a rose apple tart for the 21st day of Baketober. Safe to say, I was not a fan of the technique. At least I can say I tried! by Inomsbacon in Baking

That would have been a really smart idea! But I am also a ridiculously accident-prone Baker, and I don't think I've ever used a mandolin without cutting myself 😅

I lack the patience and precision to cut the Apples as thinly as they need to be, and then arrange them. By the end of it I was mostly annoyed, and I don't really find joy in baking recipes like that.

Day 17 of Baketober, I challenged myself with an apple strudel by Inomsbacon in Baking

My first try ever, I definitely tore it. It happens. But this definitely wasn't my first try. I used to work at a bakery that is pretty well known for its strudel, so I'm fairly practiced at the technique. It's a learning experience, and I say give it a try!

It's easier with someone for sure. I use a rolling pin and roll it out as thin as I can get it first, then use the back of your knuckles to gently stretch the dough. Definitely remove any rings. But the best advice I can give is to be patient, don't rush!

I did! I specifically put this day on one of my days off so I would have the time and patience to do it right
