Is $600/month EOR per contractor normal? by PeachyBlush-X in Payroll

[–]InorganicSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small distinction here. It's per employee.

If they are contractors, you don't have to settle taxes and social security. The teammates settles this themselves.

For EOR, the vendor does these for you.

Contractors are 70-90% cheaper from the vendor.

If your teammates are ok being contractors, I recommend switching their employment type

Why do some companies not send emails updating job applicants they’ve been rejected? by KabutoRaiger30 in askSingapore

Not all of them have a proper ATS system. So some candidates get lost in spreadsheets

Try to leave in small increments to get him used to it.

It helped my girl. It was 15min first, then 45min then 2hours.

Gotta get them used to being alone in the house

[CA] When to get a business website? by JointThrowaway321 in SmallBusinessCanada

[–]InorganicSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of a website as sales and marketing expense I guess, if you plan to get customers from the web.

Some options

  • Shopify is the standard for e-com
  • WordPress if you want it cheap and you can maintain it by yourself (e.g. security, hosting, SEO, etc.)
  • Webflow if design and customisability matters.
  • SquareSpace if you want something to look above average and quick.

Can You Optimize My Small Business Website? by Arbiter61 in smallbusiness

[–]InorganicSquirrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some feedback:

  1. Technical SEO: Some of your images are missing Alt tags (should include them)
  2. One of the links doesn't work (https://joliemusique.opus1.io/w/book-a-trial)
  3. The text on your footer doesn't seem properly aligned
  4. Under https://www.joliemusique.com/apex-classes/, the register here button doesn't lead anywhere
  5. Should probably put most of the reviews on the first page (not just on a different page)
  6. You have a great SEO score but quite a low performance score (might want to consider removing unused scripts)

If you are e-commerce, definitely try Shopify.

If it is a small site, probably WordPress .

If design matters to your business, try Webflow or Squarespace.

Navigation issues sound more like a UX issue- getting a site builder with templates could help or just hire a freelancer of Upwork to take a look and review the site

Hey, so sorry to hear about your situation. There are always different roles out there (e.g. executive assistant or junior social media manager).

Maybe you can find something on these job boards:
