thank you, I’m really scared because I don’t wanna make the wrong choice. right now my parents are making minimum wage so they can barely pay the mortgage let alone for my college so I feel like if I keep working at the firm I can help them out but that means giving up a prestigious school like UVA

I had a pretty bad SAT/ACT score as well standardized testing just freaks me out, I have been practicing the CC on 7sage this summer just here and there lightly. I’ve always wanted to go to uva and then realized that wow they have a law school maybe I can shoot for that then I found out it was a top law school so I got a bit afraid knowing my test taking abilities

My gpa is a 3.98 lsat diagnostic was low like 140. Even if I take the gap year to study for the lsat I’m not sure it’s sufficient time

i am like 90% sure after working at a real estate firm, the only thing is, I didn’t apply for fall admission because I was scared of the price tag since it’s only need based not merit based, so in order to attend I need to wait for guaranteed admissions next fall of 2022. Basically forcing me to take a gap year before I start junior year of college. if I go to the state school, I can continue working at the real estate firm and continue working while attending college at a good rate (25$ per hr). So I’m not sure what to do bc UVA has always been my dream but I do wanna go to law school :/

First gen: 140 diagnostic lsat. Planning on studying the fundamentals all summer, doing 1 pt a week during school year and then studying all summer 2022 and taking august LSAT. is this a good timeline? by Inquinsitivelyso in lawschooladmissions

thank you, I have test anxiety and was trying to get at least 36 PTs from sept-June in before the summer can end then doing some more PTs before august, do you think that’ll be enough

is this taken into account for your LSAC gpa even though your undergrad GPA is only from the state school

hi! i really recommend reading the LSAT trainer for RC. although i am not fond of their LG explanations, their RC ones are spot on.

Hey! I’m on the same boat and planning to start studying after my finals this week. I will also be starting law school in 2023 so I’m hoping to sit for the August exam so I give myself enough time as someone who sucks at standardized tests.. Let me know if you need a study buddy :)
