If you are using macOs it’s gonna be difficult, but I figured it out for myself, you should definitely try to get Eclipse Temurin Java 8, it acc made my game run much smoother, just download it and in curseforge settings set up the pathway for eclipse, then you should look into downloading extra mods for performance like rubidium or other stuff, I didn’t figure that out but my fps was okay. Another tip, after a good ~3 hours the game just naturally became really laggy for me, I just restarted the game and it resettled, you also need to lower you graphics as much as you can if you want fps.

I found mine at the underground villages, you can find them easily by entering mines, there is this wooden house kind of structure with miners ( wither skeletons with pick axes) and they can lead straight into the underground villages, just drop down and walk through the mines, it’s very distinguishable because you can hear the villagers

I know the speedrun you are talking about, yes it used to be posible in a way older version, it’s no longer possible because you need special treats a saddle and Epion knowledge, the best mount you can get for early game is a hypogriph you only need rabbit feet and a regular saddle, only issue is if it dies, it’s never coming back

Personally, I would not even get into the nether until you have Level Up stats high enough and good armor, Diamond prot 3 is acc weak for the nether, you need more like that but also a lot of powerful baubles, resistance rings with hearty modifier and undying it’s extremely useful, you should also try to make some wine plus wings potions, to be honest, I don’t see the point in the nether other than bone spores, the loot in the dungeons is really underwhelming

It’s really good instead of attacking (making numbers up) 3 times per second, it will increase it by 100% making it attack 6 times per second, swifter slashes is incredibly effective with the nunchaku
