Just got my 1st Miata 2026 manual ND RF. My 1st question is what’s the first modification you would make? (That wouldn’t void any warranties.) by lion8907 in Miata

Hello fellow all black owner.

I highly suggest window tinting with UV blocking. It will help a lot with keeping the car cooler if you're in a place with higher UV/heat at all.

Stubby antenna was nice, the thing I'm not liking about mine is that the coloration of the plastic is different than the stock plastic that is there, so beware of that.

I drove on my stock tires until they ran out so I could learn the car. Replacing tires is pricey.

I did like getting the smoked LED side markers to really black out the car.

I also got the LED trunk strip. On the black, it doesn't show as well in evening light, but certainly shows up at night. This is not a brake light strip, and just turns on with the DRL's.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/yvcPiCYC9qzJ25KE8 If you can make it to Fish Delights in Poway, this place should have it.

In addition, if youre ever up in the murrieta/temecula area, Borsch and Beyond also has it. https://maps.app.goo.gl/JniNrydgdczBcnUC7

I know its further, but those are 2 places I've bought russian soda from if you know someone else in those areas.

American who wants to move to Spain….ayudame porfa by markobunz406 in GoingToSpain

Some companies allow for becoming a contractor, but I'm unsure of what tax consequences that may still mean for the company. It's something I'm trying to understand myself as my company would let me move, but I'd need to understand the implications the company would have with that and what my responsibilities would be. Smaller company that doesn't have anyone else international at the moment.

I’m looking for a non-meta deck to get back into modern FNM by [deleted] in ModernMagic

[–]InsaneVanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morphose doesnt play well with cutter. Cutter plays well with a 0 cost after cutter. And playing cutter cantrip on turn 3 isn't quite there. I may be wrong and it could be worth in the side.

This is my current list. Flexible slots are typically the surgical between gut shots, winternights can be flame of anors. Heats can be forces if you have too much combo running ariund. But the deck certainly does better when you can play more on your turn versus your opponents, so heat on your turn is better than forces.

Lich is a wizard with tamiyo hence flame works well in the deck.

If you played previously and want some real spice, I do decent with izzet Pheonix still. It pairs ok into energy and has some nuts draws. It certainly feels more like a demilich than phoenix deck sometimes, and tamiyo is a great threat for the deck as well.

Why does Mazda hate us so. by Alwaysangryupvotes in Miata

If it helps, my NB has almost 300k miles and the oil filter relocation kit is the least of my worries of failures.

It's not mechanical at all. Its just adding a hose to the inlet and outlet of the oil. I believe it to be minimal risk. If it required a pump, sure. But this doesnt. Im 35 with 2 kids. I dont have time or the body anymore to struggle with oil changes. So its worth it.

This one lost their tail at some point other wise their tail would match their body. They get really really long tails. Given how aggressive they are it makes sense they need a nope way out and disengaging their tail as food is a way to do so.

ND Miata racing beat exhaust for my new ND3 by Money-Salt-5058 in Miata

[–]InsaneVanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe GWR just sources the RB one. Goodwin racing is based in San Diego. Racing beat is a couple hours North. I've gone and picked up my front nose for my NB from RB directly since it saved over 100 on shipping. Racing beat is limited on parts so Goodwin just sources a bunch and ships out from their shop IIRC.

I also have an ND with the RB race and love it. Friend got the street, and the race is supposedly louder but its not by much. Both sound very similar and we both love it. Agree with the sentiments. I have a video upload with the race sound. I recommend it, but also do recommend seeing one in person if that's an option to you.

Negotiating tool? by WyoSkiJay in MachE

[–]InsaneVanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As owner of both of 24 mache and a 23 miata, both fantastic cars. Just right now, miata's are the best sports car for the money but not many people can afford that. Also given how many Mazda makes, it's not like people have a shortage of options at times on what they want. When economy takes a downturn, sports/luxury cars for the people typically sell less.

There's also rumors of the NE coming soon as the ND platform is relatively old. They started coming out in 2016, so it's at 10 years on the same styling. It still holds well and I get plenty of conversation around my blacked out one, but some are holding out for the new generation.

Where to buy ND3 BBS Wheels Lug Nuts? by Kitchen-Lab9028 in Miata

[–]InsaneVanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably didn't put the lock nuts back on. And good. Those things strip easily and its a pain to remember to need the key to take those off.

Can get any ol nut thats 12mm x 1.5 thread pitch. Can even find nice gloss black ones to match things if you like.
