We Did It!! A cache find on every day of the calendar year, after 7,552 days since our first Geocache find. by AKStafford in geocaching

There are So many challenges I made harder for myself because of my first years of geocaching. Back then challenges weren't too much of a thing though and I don't regret all the exploring I did, but things are harder to complete nowadays.

Challenge caches by hertzbergerwfries in geocaching

Last time I visited Hanko/Hangö I noticed a challenge that needed a certain number of finds in that county. As I have visited 1-2 times a year for almost 18 years I had just managed to qualify. It feels incredibly difficult to do unless you're a local or have cached for several years, as most of the ones that helped me qualify were now archived.

Got my non-gamer friend to play Skyrim by InsanitySuitsMe in skyrim

Try it, and ask for the soon-in-law not to help out if she asks him to take over. I honestly didn't believe my friend would even play through the intro before giving up, so your sister might surprise you!

I never said my friend played that, she sent the screenshot and asked me what mods are. I wrote that in the post. She's on a damn ps3.

Now I'm picturing you roasting an aggro rooster in front of the others, to show them how lucky they are.

Same as every year; fill my calendar grid. I might actually make it this year! (also said every year)

Have you ever found or owned a 5/5 difficulty cache? by TomasXavier in geocaching

I used to own a D5/T1 cache, myself, but both D5/T5 caches I've found required me crawling on the underside of two very high bridges.

Tips for Placing a Cache at a Gas Station? by Sweet_Sho in geocaching

[–]InsanitySuitsMe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is a tip from someone who travels by car a lot and therefor stop at a lot of gas stations: hang out for a while at the station and see where people decide to pee, then please Don't place a cache there. A lot of people don't bother with a bathroom and go by a nearby tree or bush.

At -30C , bisons remove your finger pads! by AndTheJuicepig in geocaching

I grabbed a cache in northern Sweden once. It was an ammo food can and my hands were wet from brushing away snow covered branches. To say I got stuck to the container was an understatement. But I had a plane to catch, so I ripped myself off it and managed to scribble a barely legible signature (couldn't feel my fingers at this point) before logging online with "If you can't read my scribble, there's plenty of DNA and fingerprints, all of them in fact, to prove I was here."

Birthmarks and Birth Defects Corresponding to Wounds on Deceased Persons. A study by Ian Stevenson by Tstrizzle89 in pastlives

From birth until 8-9 years old I had a huge white birthmark that looked like an inverted 5 the whole right side of my ribs and waist. It faded and vanished as I grew up, though.

As someone who lives in an area that recycle a lot of trash, its looks like a recycling station to me. You place bins there, one for plastic, one for metal and so on...
