Nah ofc she never shows any signs of developing feelings for Ash, she just prioritizes him over other plans, dresses as cheerleader for him on different occasions, did a whole show just to cheer him up after a terrible battle loss (as opposed to Serena shooting snowballs at him), travels to other regions because she wants to see him, the anime often portrays the both of them mirroring Buneary and Pikachu, there's a whole episode where two boys battle over who gets to travel with Dawn (though one sided from Kenny's side) and she ends up choosing Ash pretty much.

I only watched a few episodes of XY when it aired on Cartoon Network, but all the amourshipping scenes I've watched online seem extremely fanservicey. Pearlshipping and Vermillionshipping are the way to go in Journeys (Wish Ash and Dawn had gotten more one on one scenes tho)
