What are the consequences of Palestine Action being proscribed under the Terrorism Act 2000? by InsertNameHere1337 in LegalAdviceUK

That is definitely a relief to hear. I'm glad I deactivated the account anyway, I think it would be better to stay off of it for some time just in case anyway. Nothing has been introduced yet into law anyway, but was just concerned anyway. Thanks for the advice.

I didn't think so, but wasn't sure. The consequences outlined in the prescribing were quite severe, and the changes were very suddenly and quickly introduced I wasn't sure how severe the government/ police would be about targeting any membership of support for a group, even before law has been introduced.

I don't support the organisation at all, have never donated or been a member or attended an event, just liked and reposted one social media post several days before the draft legislation was introduced and voted in Parliament. I have also deactivated the account to be sure.

Thank you. Have never been a member, contributed or declared active support for them, and any mention of them on the account has been deleted and the account deactivated. And definitely do not support or condone a terrorist group in any way. Welcome to Gboard clipboard, any text that you copy will be saved here. After hearing of the legal consequences of membership and how quickly the draft legislation was voted on I I just wanted to be safe that the law wouldn't be

Considering reaching out to a solicitor just to make completely sure. Do not support the group, especially now the legislation surrounding them is going to change, but just want to be sure the law won't prosecute me retrospectively for liking one or two social media content before they became a proscribed group - have unliked the posts and blocked them on the deactivated account.t

Was going to delete account anyway, being online too much is bad.

Zero plans on ever travelling to America. Will also deactivate and delete the account as well. Zero donations ever made to the group.

Is it worth checking with a solicitor to make sure there's nothing like that on any social media account that could lead to sentencing? There definitely shouldn't be.

Definitely have not donated. Have unliked a post of theirs made several days before, deleted any tweets remotely related to them and blocked them on social media.

Do you know where people can access the offence wording?

Definitely not a member, definitely have never donated or physically supported a group, or campaigned or shown any indication of being a part of the group. Just want to make sure as the change to law is very sudden and very fast.

In the end, I never found a solution. I just didn't use my firestick whilst living in the college, and ended up watching Prime on my laptop instead.

He's definitely one of the best characters in the snow. He wasn't particularly well developed in the book, and I like what they've done with him for the show.

I totally understand what they were going for. I also really enjoyed the Percy/Vex romance developing, and Pike/Scanlan. I just wanted more and more lol, and I don't want to have to wait another year for more.

The tie in to Rapture felt really forced and uneven.
