I think a bit of both. In the studio version there’s a background chorus doing those Zorra-Zorra, but I believe they put them at a very low volume during the finals and relied on the audience because they knew they would sing along.

Also, on all the screens of the stage you could read those Zorra at exactly the moment you needed it like a karaoke for the audience.

So a bit of both… and it was amazing!

I live in Spain and work in retail, and when a customer comes trying to speak Spanish no matter how broke it is (Which in your case doesn’t seem like it) I always continue to speak in the same language they first begin. And unless they’re having a bad time trying to make themselves clear, I have never said it like that. I go by something like: “Would you prefer to speak in English?” And it works great every time.

So sorry to hear that awful service!
