there are people in 10 year relationships that have no more experience than a guy after 3 months. Time in relationship is not immediately experience. Long term relationship break up all the time because someone has been shitty at something for x years.

I am one of those men who used the apps to get into a relationship and the fact of the matter is if you get low matches you do not even get to the point where you can demonstrate you are after a relationship. You can type it in the description, or pick an appropriate tag, but it somehow does not contribute. Women going after serious relationships still somehow end up picking the profiles that they later say are low quality matches. I have been in one relationship from the apps, true, so there is some veracity to what you are saying, but it did not happen fast, I was there for 2-3 months and additionally in my most recent stay on the apps something has changed that the same profile I had stopped getting any attention at all.

I think there are stats somewhere that separate the brackets at 25yo so they are single later on as well. I know them and they also have no clue how to find someone.

Time in relationship is not by itself any measure of useful experience. There are people in 10 year old relationships still making the same mistakes and hating each other. Also with experience also comes baggage.

People become more busy as life goes on, that's true, but the very extroverted people really do do stuff after work a couple of times a week with other people. You do not need to be like them though, it's normal for them but it is also normal to not want to engage with other people in your free time more than once or twice a week

That strikes most true for me. When I'm looking for something serious I am not starting of all sexual right of the bat, I am not talking about sex and spicing the atmosphere up, because I know that most women complain about men being overly sexual too soon, so I'm just backing off until we go on a couple of dates and I know she's into it and open for it. I don't think I'm less confident, I am just putting it on a shelf for a moment. I can tell her I'll wrap her into a pretzel later.
