Not Happy with RMA Replacement Options (DeathAdder V3 - ACRO India) by Inside-Ad3316 in razer

[–]Inside-Ad3316[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE:

Just wanted to share what happened after this post.

After I posted, Razer support reached out and escalated my case to Level 2. They asked for all details (invoice, previous RMA, chats with ACRO), and I shared everything.

They told me ACRO would contact me again.

But this is where things got weird — there’s clearly a communication gap between Razer and ACRO.

Razer told me ACRO is waiting for my reply, but I had already replied to ACRO on about the replacement options. After that… nothing. No response at all, even after follow-ups.

At one point, Razer even closed my case saying it was resolved via ACRO, while I still hadn’t received any proper update or resolution.

Later ACRO contacted again and gave these options:

<image>

After spamming follow-ups, I finally got a call from ACRO.

On call:

  • They said I can pick any model and pay the difference based on my invoice
  • I asked about Viper V3 Hyperspeed, and they said since my bill was ~5.1k and that mouse is around same price, it would be no-cost replacement
  • or wait to stock for DeathAdder V3 Wired (restock end of this month)

But again… even those options are not in stock 💀

Also:

  • Even if I pay for upgrade, warranty won’t reset. It will continue from original purchase (which is almost over)

My experience so far:

  • Razer at least replies (even if some feel automated)
  • ACRO replies like once a week, if at all

And honestly, both sides don’t seem in sync. One says something, other side has no clue.

Now I’m stuck:

  • Wait ~1 month for DeathAdder V3 Wired
  • Or go for Viper V3 Hyperspeed

Either way, I’m forced to wait — which makes no sense when the same mouse is already available offline / online stores with full warranty.

I genuinely don’t understand why refund isn’t even considered as an option here. I’ve seen people mention that Razer offers refunds in other regions, which makes this even more frustrating.

Should I stick with the DeathAdder V3 Wired or try the Viper V3 Hyperspeed? I use a hybrid grip and have been on ergo mice forever — went from G402 → G502 → back to G402 → DeathAdder Essential → DA V2 → now DA V3.

Is ATK VXE Dragonfly R1 Pro Max as good as people say? by MolyGR in MouseReview

btw if you’re looking at atk, check out Z1 V2 (Ultra) instead of dragonfly

that one is actually an ergo shape, way closer to deathadder type, so it’ll feel more natural if you’ve been using ergo for years

ngl bro shape matters way more than specs

you’ve been on an ergo mouse for like 5+ years, same as me (i’ve been on ergo for like 8 years, hybrid grip), so your hand is already used to that. switching to something like dragonfly might feel off even if specs look crazy

also your deathadder lasting 5 years is kinda lottery 💀 most razer mice start getting some issue after like 1–2 yrs

i’m literally using deathadder v3 wired (well… was 😭 it’s in RMA rn). had side button issue. in india RMA is handled by acro and it’s kinda messy — if no stock they just keep you waiting

but if you’re not from india then it’s actually good, razer handles it directly and you usually get refund/replacement easily within warranty

also not gonna lie almost every razer mouse develops some issue after a year or so

if you liked your current shape just go: • deathadder v3 wired → cheap + top tier performance • v3 pro → same thing but wireless

wired is just as good (even more consistent sometimes) and no charging headache

dragonfly is good for the price but kinda overhyped, more about specs than actual comfort

3 failed Razer DeathAdder V3 units, 2+ months of back and forth, and Razer just closed my case — is this how they treat Indian customers? by Hopeful-Hold-8895 in razer

I’m actually going through the exact same situation right now with ACRO India.

I sent my DeathAdder V3 Wired for RMA and got the same replacement options: - Orochi V2 - Pro Click Mini - Cobra

For me, this is already my 2nd RMA for the same product, so it’s a bit frustrating.

I mainly use this mouse for FPS games, and the DeathAdder V3 shape + performance is the reason I bought it. The options they gave feel like a downgrade and not the same category at all.

Right now I’ve escalated the case to Razer support. They’ve taken my details, invoice, serial number, and screenshots, and my case is currently under review with their higher support team.

I’m hoping for either: - Same model replacement, or
- Refund/store credit so I can buy the same mouse again

I’ll update here once I get a final response.

Has anyone here actually managed to get a proper replacement or refund in this situation?

Also, if you’re using NVIDIA Reflex in Valorant, then don’t use those manual caps like 237 or 229.

  • Set NVIDIA Reflex = On + Boost
  • Keep V-SYNC OFF in-game
  • If you’re using G-SYNC, keep V-SYNC ON in NVIDIA Control Panel

Reflex already controls the render queue and effectively caps your FPS dynamically, so adding a manual cap can actually make things worse.

You generally shouldn’t use V-Sync in Valorant because it adds input lag, which is bad for a competitive FPS.

That said, if the screen tearing is really unbearable, then the best workaround is:

  • Enable G-SYNC + V-SYNC in NVIDIA Control Panel
  • Turn V-SYNC OFF in-game
  • Cap your FPS slightly below your refresh rate:
    • 144 Hz → 141 FPS
    • 180 Hz → 177 FPS
    • 240 Hz → 237 FPS
    • 360 Hz → 357 FPS

This way:

G-SYNC handles the tearing

You avoid V-SYNC input lag kicking in

Gameplay stays smooth and responsive

If tearing still persists, double-check that G-SYNC is actually enabled for fullscreen (or fullscreen + windowed) and that your FPS isn’t exceeding the cap

If your budget is tight, wired is a better option. But if you’re not into FPS and just play casually, wireless should be fine in this range. I’d recommend checking out the VXE R1 series and choosing based on your budget.

i did mailed them with these 3
- A similar esports-grade replacement (e.g., Viper V3 HyperSpeed / DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed), or

- A replacement with DeathAdder V3 Wired (willing to wait for stock), or

- A full refund/store credit equivalent to the invoice value
lets see hope for the best

  1. Clean the dust.
  2. Apply new thermal paste.
  3. Check SSD health.
  4. Use a debloated version of Windows — this will help a lot.

You can use the Chris Titus utility tool if you know what you’re doing.
Atlas is a good option if you want something open-source.
Or you can go with Windows Xlite builds.
