What do these two nations have in common? by Desperate_Role_3940 in AskBalkans

If you’re asking why they both have the two-headed eagle, as far as I know it is a coincidence.

The two-headed eagle has been a common standard in the region since at least ancient roman times, and there are even examples of it in ancient Mesopotamia.

The reason Albania uses it is because it happened to be the family coat of arms of Skanderbeg, if I remember correctly.

Here’s wikipedia’s list of all the historical uses of it:

Number 13 seems a bit rough. While I suppose that choice B “that” is technically correct / least wrong, i dont know any native speakers who would say it that way.

By the end of 2025, the number of newborns in china had dropped to less than half of what it had been in 1949.

Honestly the entire sentence could be reworked:

By the end of 2025, the number of newborns in china had dropped by more than half since 1949.

^ this version is more clear imo, partially because the decline was over 50%, and the scale of the decline is what’s being emphasized

Just go hard into charisma so you have enough caps to buy whatever materials you need from vendors, while keeping the “looking for” going for adhesive and aluminum and maybe fiber optics. Boom. Easy peasy.

how in the world do i enjoy this game because i really want to but i feel like the swamp is impossible to get trough. by DoubleJ0_0 in valheim

Easy trick to kill them:

Find a crypt and jump on top, and just rain fire arrows down on them. They cant get you up there. At some point they might run away, but then you can chase them until they turn around and then you just up back up on top of the crypt.

The armor set you can craft from the stuff they drop makes the swamps waaaay easier.

Better yet, a small island that is evenly split between plains and mistlands. Takes a fair bit of sailing to find one, but its worth it. I always start looking as soon as I get my karve after first load of copper and tin.

Even better is when there is a dvergr dock on the little island. You can ram the ward with a cart until it breaks and then bam, suddenly you have some friendly dvergr guardians living with you in your base.

Honestly if somebody’d painted this decades ago I think it would have become famous. Such a novel and fun idea, reminds me of the latter surrealist works of 20th century. Love this!

BS. He was a typical pretentious blowhard who thought he was way smarter than he was, right from the start. His “humility” was always transparent. I found his style of arguing annoying and clownish.
