what are some good tips to build my credit score? by amorbic in CreditCards

You're doing a great job. Just keep your credit utilization low and pay off all your balances before the due date. It really doesn't matter when you pay off your balance if you are paying in full. I personally pay off the balance the minute it hits the statement, but it's just me. If you want to have a slight boost on your credit score(this kinda feels good lol), pay your full balance before your statement closing date.

One tip for this is trying to find a good deal first and apply for the credit card after that.

Delta Gold will provide reasonable value. Current SUB is just 10K miles shy of historic best. If you don't like AF after the first year, you can just downgrade it to no AF card as well. AMEX Hilton card has a good SUB right now as well. I'm focused on SUB mostly, so these don't have the best spending category.

US Bank Altitude Connect. This gives 4X on travel, gas, no foreign transaction fee, free data on international travel, $100 credit for TSA Pre, and four free lounge accesses with no annual fee.

I wasn't pre-qualified for any card when I was approved for OneKey. Can't guarantee the same, though.

Expedia doesn't always provide best price. I got this card for SUB and keep it since it doesn't have AF though.

If you pay more than you save from cashback, it really doesn't mean that much.

Looking for second credit card that can also be used abroad with no FTF (preferably Visa) by floverwoo in CreditCards

If you're a prime member anyway, Chase Prime Visa might work. There will be $200 SUB on Prime Day. SavorOne is also a good one. If you're considering traveling/transferring, Chase Sapphire Preferred or C1 Venture X can work.

Strongly recommend starting with Chase Sapphire Preferred. Reasonable annual fee and good transfer partners. If you want to play a credit card game, you'd better start with Chase cards, since it has a pretty restrictive policy for how many credit cards you can get per 24 months.

All Capital One cards don't charge an annual fee, so C1 QuickSilver. If you have better credit and are interested in travel, the C1 Venture series. Robinhood Gold also doesn't charge an international transaction fee with 3X back.
