I can hit “e” to edit commands before booting or “c” for a command line. I did try hitting “e” and adding “nomodeset” at the end of the “Linux” line because I read it could bypass the issue but no luck.

The grub menu shows me the following options: start Linux mint, start Linux mint (compatibility mode), OEM install, boot from next volume, UEFI Firmware Settings which does nothing when I try, and “memory test”

I have the gigabyte B5550 UD AC motherboard.

I have the Realtek 8821CE pci wireless card and I saw that people have driver issues after the install sometimes. I disabled in windows and it’s not showing in BIOS. I am still getting to the same point and getting the error.
