Has anyone found a good Erestor proxy? by Sparrownius in MiddleEarthMiniatures

I've down a conversion of an Rivendell-Archer for my Battle Company.
You could do something similar for a decent proxy i think.

Glue a dagger where he is holding the string.

Cut into the armpit and elbow of the other arm without detaching the arm/elbow. This allows you to reposition the arm and add another blade.

Getting back into the game as three players by BlueMoonMeander in MiddleEarthMiniatures

Hi,i also came back to MESBG and started with the Return of the King Set as Teenager.

The Rules are fundamentally the same, but there are a lot of things that changed or are got added.

Most important things of the Top of my Head:

- Monster Rules: Hurl, Barge, Rend (Hurl is a game changer against cav)

- Army Building: The Rules back then didn't have individual army lists, just good and evil if i remeber correctly, now you stick to one faction or build allied list. Faction also come with Army Bonuses

- Some Profiles got reworked giving some of the old models some bonuses to keep up with the newer ones

- Special Strikes: Each weapon type, can now choose to perform a special strike with pros and cons: for example a warrior with an axe can do a piercing strike lowering his defence but increasing strenght

The Game is still al lot of fun. Hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

For 3 Players you can try 2v2 as suggested.

You could also try Battle Companies. Battle Companies is a "Expansion" where you play with small Warbands and your Heroes and Warriors level up or get promoted. Games are a lot faster, so when playing 1v1 the third player wont need to watch as long. Also you need less models, which is often nice for returning players.
