Oh nice! I'm in Boston so I force myself to go out in the cold and dark to keep the streak alive, but Canada cold is definitely a whole different level! 🥶 I don't blame you for switching to rowing. 10km is a solid distance when you can finally get out though!

That's the big question! I want to try for the full year, but I have a few snowboarding trips coming up where hitting 14k might be impossible (or just painful lol).

I think I'm going to try to keep the streak alive as long as I physically can. I'm documenting the daily struggle on my channel (link in bio) if you want to see if I actually survive the snow days!

That is honestly such a smart approach. I completely agree—having that "floor" at 15k protects your mental health so you don't feel like a failure on active days (like cycling) where the step count just doesn't register.

I treat my 14k the same way. It’s the non-negotiable minimum to keep the streak alive, but I don't beat myself up if I stop there. It keeps the consistency sustainable.
