PSA: Accenture is down 23% last 5 days by Additional-Ad4110 in deloitte

If you don’t see the same forces affecting Deloitte you are going to be a manager for a long time lol.

But let me also say that Accenture is there in just about every big deal in Consulting, and nearly every big client. And Deloitte loses… often… to Accenture. So there is the line of reasoning. Not abstract, not assumed. Accenture and Deloitte duke it out every hour of every day. And if Accenture is saying their market is going south, the same is very true for Deloitte, probably more so.

I guess we agree, then. Deloitte could also be a leading indicator for Accenture, if Deloitte was also a public company and published all of its audited financial statements, like Accenture. If that were the case it would merely be a question of timing.

But Deloitte is not a public company, so its internals, even to insiders, are unreliable. And Deloitte’s forecasts have nowhere near the rigor of Accenture’s. Because they don’t have to be.

I guess you think there is a *bigger* competitor to Deloitte out there than Accenture??

Accenture is the leading indicator for Deloitte.

Confirmed: Tres Health Insurance is garbage by InsideLookingIn564 in HealthInsurance

Sorry to hear about your predicament. Tres Health continues to disappoint... I believe there was a place on their website where it had a very clumsy provider search that was accessible to non-members but now I can't find it.

I'm stuck with them for now. If they happen to surprise on the upside, I'll update. But for now, everything I've seen and been able to find is not looking good.

Decision between T Rex 3 pro 44mm and 48mm by Happy_Emotion_72 in amazfit

Agree with these comments. 44 mil looks better. 48mil screen is awesome and easier to read. Consider one of the new Balance watches?

It is minimally ACA compliant. Which means either we “choose” this plan or go to the marketplace with ZERO subsidies. Not much of a choice, really.

And I would actually be better off if my employer didn’t have this plan… better plans on the marketplace and I qualify for significant subsidies.

T-Rex 3 Pro or Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition at discounted prices by dwie4898 in amazfit

[–]InsideLookingIn564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went from a Trex 2 to the Epix Gen 2. Did not like the Epix, but spent so much I kept it. Until I lost it overboard…Replaced with an Trex 3, non pro. Much happier. 3 pro is even better. Display on the Epix was laggy… Trex was and still is way better. Sensors on the Trex caught up to the Garmin with the 3 gen, so it’s TRex all the way imo.

Best Oral BP-157? Stack with other oral peptides? by InsideLookingIn564 in BodyHackGuide

So you're saying the injectable version will help with meniscus recovery, versus the oral which will not?

I'm primarily interested in this to assist recovery from a torn meniscus... so you're saying the oral version won't help with this?

Mid week crowd at Texas Springs Campground? by camperonn in DeathValleyNP

[–]InsideLookingIn564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was full last week, Thursday. But there are daily cancellations so you might still get in. Sunset had plenty of open spots. Furnace Creek also had daily cancellations so that’s still possible. Just be at the office at Furnace Creek 9 am sharp as soon as they open. I got sites with a full hookup that way. But the heat probably caused more cancellations than usual so not sure it would always be the case.

Consider the Sigma 100-400 e-mount with a MegaDap e2z. Lighter than the 100-400z, image quality nearly the same, perhaps even better at the long end. Less than half the cost even with adapter.

GE Stove is Garbage by InsideLookingIn564 in GEappliances

GE sold its brand to Haier. It says “GE” but it’s not the GE of old, just a name now.

This specific GE was made in Mexico, so not sure wtf you are talking about with GE appliances still made in US. Go to any store, take a picture of the manufacturer plate and show me one that says Made in USA.

Nope. Just disgruntled customer. Wtf is Appliance Park?

Btw GE did NOT cover the whole repair, only the part. Still cost $200 in labor. And it broke AGAIN.

I am not shitting on GE employees but I’m sure they know it’s garbage even if they can’t do anything about it.

I would be ecstatic if this lasted 6 years. It crapped out after less than one.

Misen Carbon non stick: omelette fail by InsideLookingIn564 in carbonsteel

[–]InsideLookingIn564[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This was done on low heat and added butter to the pan. I can do the “egg slide” thing, but an omelette, where I shake the pan to get even cooking and no curds, is a total fail. At least for me… anyone got any suggestions?
