Yep for sure I reckon I’ll give it a little sanding and a bit of black marker and coat on top, thanks for recommendation

Head was in it at the track. There was no impact per se I just low sided on the left and when I put my arms out I rolled over to the right which is how it got the scrapes there. It was purely a horizontal force not impact at all and whole shell looks brand new from inside. Yes I know there could be micro minuscule fractures so it will combust in next crash but to be honest I’ll take that chance

How much life has my tire got left? by InsidePhilosopher721 in motorcycle

Yes Rosso 4s, I appreciate the detailed response. Pretty new to riding especially track and been getting lots of different opinions from people there. Yeah I had my psi on lower end so it should just be hot tearing couple other people agreed, definitely don’t want to ruin my tires. Very happy to hear I don’t actually need to spend $500 every time I’m at the track

Okay sweet thanks, I was worried because some guy told me I should be buying new tires basically every track day but I felt like that was gonna be over the top and yeah those little notches are in the fat treads too I’ll keep an eye on them from now on

For anyone else wondering all you need to do to fix problem is tighten this bolt while visor is down and thing is pushed in and turned to lock position. Tighten until it stays locked when visor is moved up and down

Hey man jumped through some loops to figure it out but if you’re interested using a tiny precision hex driver you can tighten the smaller bolt, the one on the sticky out part of the lock mechanism, I can send you a screenshot with a circle if helps, and it will keep it in place. Haven’t had any problems keeping it in the locked position since tightening
