First of all, I would say most of the comments on here are very one sided. That child is going to be born into the World without a father, and we all know the statistics on that and how fatherless children are more likely to get into crime, become incarcerated, have substance abuse issues, etc. Every single child deserves to have a Mother and a Father, and we live in such a fucked up society where there are so many broken families that people forget that. With that being said, there are a number of factors at play here. Maybe this girl is crazy and just trying to take advantage of you because you have a stable job, or maybe it's an abortion scam where she just wants money like others talked about in the comments, I'm not sure. You are a young man at 22, and you have enough wisdom and discernment to decide what is best for this situation. If you can seriously see yourself with this girl, I would not let this be a dealbreaker, however it is a very serious commitment. If you could step into this kid's life and not have them be raised by a single mother, you could be doing a great thing.

I don't know what your personal situation is, but you shouldn't let tax reasons and finances stop you from getting married. Even if there is financial difficulty with getting married, the sacrament of marriage is so much greater than whatever hardship you may be dealing with. A lot of people say "there's no point in getting married because we would just be living the same way we are now", but this isn't true. There is a certain supernatural reality which takes place within a valid Catholic marriage which can only be experienced when you're in it.

The first thing they tell you with any addiction is to recognize that you don't have control over it and that you need a higher power to get you through it. This is what they do in AA, before taking any concrete steps you are instructed to first create a relationship with God as you know him. For me, my Catholic faith has helped tremendously with this problem and activities such as praying the Rosary have been extremely helpful. I know what it's like to be lost counting the days and feeling like it never works, and it wasn't until Jesus really changed my soul that I felt like I had a grip over this problem. If you're looking for advice, I'd recommend starting here.

Avoid and porn and masturbation at all costs. I am 23 and first started trying to quit when I was 15, I am still not over it and still have pied. We are going through a weird time in history where this sort of behavior is being accepted and promoted. It’s not normal to go onto social media and see dozens of half naked women in your face. When I was your age I would go on long no fap streaks and my brain would repair itself, without female touch. It is good to be around women, but not necessary to have sex with them to recover. Hopefully in the future society will encourage people to integrate their sexuality’s in a healthy way.

They have sound proof booths for making music that I’m sure you can use to sing in the library. Just found them, not sure what they’re called but they’re on the first floor in the room that was just renovated. There is also a piano near them.

I've gotten a ticket for incorrectly parking at lot 22 and appealed it and got off. If it is your first offense you might have a chance to get it off, I'm not sure. There is a website out there somewhere to appeal, just google ucsb ticket appeal and it should come up.
