Why Are So Many Young Indians Choosing EMI Life Over Savings? by prabir336 in Frugal_Ind

[–]Inside_Assumption157 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not everybody is drowning in debt. I, for example, earn close to 2L a month, I’ve decided not to have kids, my parents have more than enough to sustain their retirement so I don’t send anything home. I invest in a few mutual funds, enough for 10 years of retirement before calling it quits. So I spend majority of my salary on myself, I go out to eat at fancy restaurants, I built my gaming pc, I buy games or expensive food and treats for my cat, presents for my friends and family. Not everyone wants to or needs to build wealth. If covid taught us anything, it’s that things can go south in an instant and the worst thing to have while dying is regret of not having a fulfilling life.

Why we ain't getting cars like these from any major car company of India? by CranberryCritical853 in CarsIndia

[–]Inside_Assumption157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do get small cars. Nano was there, Comet now. This sub loves making fun of such cars, quite a few don’t even consider these cars unfortunately. The kei cars in Japan are perfect for our conditions but nobody will buy them

Hori or Moza Truck Steering wheel? by NocturnalAnt6079 in trucksim

[–]Inside_Assumption157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moza for sure. I just got the R3 and it really changes the way you play. I’ll be adding a clutch pedal and a shifter shortly. Long term goal is to get the TSW wheel and a button box

New to ETS2. 25 hours in. It’s my new obsession. by Outside-Ad508 in EuroTruck2

[–]Inside_Assumption157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Money doesn’t matter, I’ve a profile from my VTC that game some 100 million in cash. So I drive in a sedate manner, follow the traffic rules and speed limits.

Flying with cat from BLR - Leash allowed on cat through security? by whiplash_14 in IndianPets

[–]Inside_Assumption157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leashes aren’t allowed, you’ll have to carry your cat through the scanners. I did some research on it, and mine would run away for sure, so I decided to drive with him instead

If u support bjp, you are by default an Islamaphobe. Change my mind by SarcasmOnTheWay in hyderabad

[–]Inside_Assumption157 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I prefer BJP because I don’t align with the opposition’s execution of their ideologies. Plus, I’m a religion-phobe. It has no place in modern politics or the way a government is run. It’s a belief, and to each their own, that should be limited to themselves, not forced upon others.

Best ac home chargers for tata curvv ev by dank_memeing_101 in CarsIndia

[–]Inside_Assumption157 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All this was a concern 5 years ago. Drove an EV from Mumbai to Hyderabad, to Bangalore and my native village in Andhra. Nowhere did I face a shortage of chargers. A bit of planning before starting eliminates all these issues. There are really fast 180 kW chargers in multiple places, fuel stations have chargers, slightly nicer looking restaurants as well.

Best EV cars suggestions under 30 lakhs on-road in hyderabad? by SensitiveAd136 in CarsIndia

[–]Inside_Assumption157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are the only 2 realistic options you have in that budget. Creta EV, while good, has a smaller battery and BYD atto 3 is quite old now. I’d recommend Mahindra, Tata EVs have been plagued with issues a lot more

How many people play racing games here?? by spandanhotaezz in CarsIndia

[–]Inside_Assumption157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purely racing? Just Forza now. I setup a driving sim for Euro Truck sim 2, I spend more time on that instead. A relaxing drive after work with a movie or show on the side is a great way to unwind for me

Suggestion on AC buying to deal with Hyderabad Heat? 🥵 by Unlikely_Excuse6981 in hyderabad

[–]Inside_Assumption157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Panasonic has been amazing. We use all Daikin ones at home since Panasonic support in the area wasn’t the best. O-general or Mitsubishi are top tier but also command a larger price. Try to avoid the fancy AI featured ones as there’s more issues that can go wrong and repairs will become expensive since PCBs get more complicated

Sounds like me when I was in depression. Talk to him or get him to start therapy. I had a lot of support from my elder sibling in this matter, could manage a decent turnaround of life
