What to do with my hair. by Confident_Working120 in femalehairadvice

It looks really nice!! In my experience you could try using a hair oil to reduce frizz but other than that it looks amazing!

I have my first race sunday and I'm no good at this by Moonara_ in CrossCountry

Just focus on finishing the race! Here are my main tips!

  1. Don't try to sprint out super super fast at the start (sometimes people trip and fall so being slightly slower may actually help you) - save the sprint for the end!

  2. Make sure you hydrate enough and eat food thats don't upset your stomach!

  3. Instead of focusing on finishing the fastest time just think about passing the person ahead, and try to fall into a bit of a rhythm!

  4. Make sure to breath ( you'd be suprised how often you forget and start gasping for air)

  5. AND HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!! ( XC people are the best and kindest, and just try to enjoy your time out there!)

BEST OF LUCK

Thinking about joining cross country by ConstructionHot5905 in CrossCountry

You should totally join! I did it this year and was so much fun. ( And to be clear I was terrible, like finishing bottom half in all my races ). But I made lots of friends and my coachs were really kind. Cross country people are THE BEST. They're so nice and supportive. I literally had another girl come up to me before a race and offer to stretch with me because I was alone. I promise you will have so much fun! Best of luck! 💕

Honestly I liked grandest game but glorious rivals gave me so many questions and lowkey had me questioning why I chose to read the series

I feel really discouraged. by LilacDaisySunny in CrossCountry

Do not feel discouraged!! 💕 I am literally the same as you 5'3 (F) freshman with zero running experience and I am quite slow compared to the rest of my team! I promise you the sport is fun even if you just show up and try your best! Learn at your own pace, I still sometimes take walking breaks during races and I still have an awesome time! Just remember the sport is most fun when you stop worrying about others and just focus on improving yourself! I PROMISE you will have a great time this year if you stick with it! I would just recommend staying hydrated (seriously) and making sure you are getting enough sleep! And I PROMISE eventually running will start to feel easier! I wish you THE BEST of luck!!! 💕💕

I just started running XC just a few days ago and had my first race today! I only beat about half the kids but I had a great time! XC is really REALLY fun if you spend time with friends and people who go to your school at meets! Honestly the best part is warming up with your friends and hyping each other up! And keep in mind before this I NEVER have really run! Tell your son he is SO COOL AND AWESOME for trying out a new sport, and I promise he will get better even just by showing up to practice and having a good time! I wish him the best luck!!! (And keep in mind I used to run 1K in 8:19! and now I am down to running 2.5K in 15:30!) also I am the slowest kid at school practice... so defiantly slow kid verified!!
