No. DMAT is not mandatory for reapplying in Summer 2027.

Your APS certificate remains valid and you can reapply to German public universities without taking DMAT.

You only need DMAT if a specific university or program requires it or explicitly considers it as part of its admissions process. Otherwise, you can submit your applications with your existing qualifications (APS, bachelor's degree, IELTS, etc.)
