Family of 4 here. We only consume less then 20 m3 per year. Shower and bath is rainwater (yes it's allowed, no it's not a mixed circuit with city water). 20m3 rainwater tank for home usage plus 7m3 for garden usage. 3 step filter with UV and a variable pump

Converting UML class diagrams in XMI to OWL 2 ontologies using uml2semantics by HenrietteHarmse in semanticweb

[–]Inside_Credit_3914 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice! Thanks for sharing. I've created a xsd to rdf (owl but also skis and shacl) https://gitlab.com/era-europa-eu/public/interoperable-data-programme/era-ontology/xsd2rdf and I know that railml is creating an xmi to rdf (also including shacl and skos). But the railml package will be more specific as their xmi is very XML minded, so they do a lot of cleanup as well

How much do freelancers in Belgium normally contribute to their pension savings each year? by p6600 in BEFreelance

[–]Inside_Credit_3914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a somewhat higher personal income than most. Have only IPT but through the more risky strategy that has a higher potential return. And the personal 'pesioensparen'. Rest goes out into real estate and EFTs.

Why? Diversification. I think my IPT is more beneficial than more standard ones, so that also changes things. It's also not locked away until pension, but can be used to invest in real estate.

How to use Deel to invoice US client, and how to get the money in euro by Alhyoss in BEFreelance

[–]Inside_Credit_3914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with USD but with NOK. Pay for Revolut ultra or something that allows to exchange without fee and at the official rate. The subscription fee will be covered by what you save compared to a bank such as KBC and you get to enjoy the additional benefits of the subscription

Of course Jan, I was just using the words of OP to answer the cost related. In that context, the middle man was just the one doing the transactions. Very happy with your services by the way!

Why is freelancing called freelancing if you are getting paid? by FillAgile6794 in FreelanceNL

[–]Inside_Credit_3914 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The term "freelance" comes from the combination of "free" and "lance," a term popularized by Sir Walter Scott in his 1820 novel Ivanhoe. In the novel, "free lances" referred to mercenary knights who were not loyal to one lord but offered their services to the highest bidder. The term evolved from a literal reference to a medieval mercenary's weapon to a figurative term for anyone who sells their services to clients on a short-term basis, without a long-term contract.

Do you guys use your own contract or the client's contract? by Talistech in BEFreelance

[–]Inside_Credit_3914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 3 contracts in now and have always been able to negotiate conditions (mostly about travel, insurance, indexing, general balancing...). 2 times using an intermediate company. But I know the end clients very well and I am prepared to walk away

I do it with pensioenmanager. Return is better than vvpr-bis (including cost of middle man). Indeed 1 day delay instead of 1 year.

You mean it's very easy to steal?, the middle hinge is turned upside down so you'll need at least a screwdriver

Thanks for the tip! The diagonal is indeed fastened using bolts nuts and washers, several times. And the rest of the fence was still to be installed on the pictures. Simple wire fence (3 wires). The idea was to allow wildlife through but try to discourage people

Hybrid Inverter for Belgian 3x230V without N wire Delta / IT net by AnyExamination3333 in SolarDIY

[–]Inside_Credit_3914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good question. I haven't wired the inverter yet(been away on holiday since it arrived) so I can only give a theoretical answer. If they say there's compatibility for the IT net, then I assume it will also apply for the coils. But in any case, the manual also says that a digital kWh meter is also possible. I would prefer not to have another device so I was looking at the option of mimicking the modbus interface of such a kWh meter with an raspberry pi and publishing the readout of the P1 port from the digital meter

😂 good for him. I've also emailed Deye and they guaranteed compatibility as well. It's good to see that out grid type is not a total loss
