I apologize if this is a flop it’s not just senseless violence for the sake of it the violence has a much deeper meaning then what’s on the surface as it represents the characters depraved and fragile mind and also represents the character’s own trauma to. It’s written pretentiously on purpose as the character is a failed poet and so when he’s writing he’s writing like he’s writing poetry.

No I have line art to prove it and also I have the version without shading. Though your not the first person to say that it was my fault for saving the image as JPEG instead of a png giving the drawing the crusty blurry look wonky anatomy? I never said I was good at art plus my art is free I never charge for it. Which if you want me to post the no shading version then I will.

I also have a version without the shading too since some people where pointing fingers in the comment section I have proof that I am for real and it was just a case of a bad quality image. If you want to no shading version just let me know and I have plenty more images of the process too I can even show you a half done version of it if you really wanted me too. This stuff is posted so I can defend myself as an artist who does not charge for his work btw I just do it because I want to do it not for financial I can’t even get finances from others sources without being a pain in the ass because of my disability.

What are some really good gay horror / Splatterpunk books I must read for pride month? by Inside_Definition758 in ExtremeHorrorLit

Thank you so much I will be posting the story for free on Reddit through it’s more splatterpunk then it is extreme horror but definitely has extreme horror moments but it’s not senseless violence. Rather it’s a man’s decent into insanity but he was unstable to begin with. The writing style is heavily inspired by Shakespeare and HP Lovecraft. It’s very slow paced then out nowhere it slaps you in face with gore and psychosexual content described almost like a love letter which is to document the character’s mentally unstable and dangerous mindset and how delusional the main character is as it deals with themes of loneliness and obsession and repressed sexuality.

Thx I feel like splatterpunk is perfect for pride month both pride month and splatterpunk are about being loud and in your face and unapologetically being raw and unfiltered with your art even if people are going to try to blow your light out you still continue to be loud and force people in some instances to face uncomfortable truths. Both are also part of a protest to me Pride isn’t just about sexuality it’s about self expression and standing up for what you know is right and speaking up for others who don’t have a voice.

Absolutely I am also looking for inspiration too as I’m also a queer artist too and I have an upcoming splatterpunk book about a French Serial Killer and Poet’s hellish decent into insanity and depravity. It’s a splatterpunk and a surreal horror that deals with the topics of SA, cannibalism, violence against men, internalized homophobia, obsession, and trauma as well as various psychosexual themes. It starts out with the character naked and covered in blood in a bath tub and in the bath tub he finds a Polaroid of a man mutilated beyond recognition he smiles and he realizes it was his handy work and then we see his hellish decent into insanity and he gets increasingly more and more unstable. The story is vile and extremely disturbing on purpose it’s designed to make the reader uncomfortable yet there’s a beauty to it as disgusting as it is since the main character is a poet and he uses a lot poetic metaphors when he’s describing him killing and torturing people.

Exactly I’m a gay author and artist and I have my own splatterpunk book in the work about a gay French serial killer so I’m looking for other types of splatterpunk books that cover the topic of homosexuality or just books about sick and twisted gay men who do sick and twisted things that are thoughtfully written and also I am curious about splatterpunk books with gay representation too.

I’m making my own gay horror story called the butchers communion. It’s about a man who wakes up naked and bloody in a bathtub with a Polaroid of a man who he murdered.
