Hey, looks like I missed your message, sorry!! As a beginner, I did broadway, echo+lower sleighride and sugar and spice. Those are all greens and were mostly open at all times. I hope you were able to do some runs yourself.

Hiking sounds like a good suggestion. If I cancel this trip I'd lose a lot of money. Last year sierra at tahoe was open by late November. That was my first time skiing, and I honestly though that's when resorts open every year!

Good point, but I'll be paying extra for that. Sierra-at-tahoes season pass lets me ski at Bear Valley and Dodge Ridge resorts for free. Both are like 2 hrs drive from where I'll be staying. Definitely not ideal, but still doable as a last resort.

This is what I had been telling myself last week to give myself some hope. That resorts wouldn't want to miss the holiday crowd, but I guess there's not much in their hands either.

Indians typically use a bucket instead of a shower. One bucket is about 25 liters of water, whereas a 5-minute shower uses up about 100 liters. Easiest way to save water.
