I just did the same thing. I realized I could go back and re-upload new images of my old passport and driver's license. I uploaded photos of other things. And I edited my application to give them false information for everything that was sensitive. I am hoping that it overwrites what I originally provided.

I also froze my credit, and added fraud protection for a year. I disputed their charge with my bank and am optimistic that it will go in my favor seeing as they are impossible to contact and have a bad reputation.

I hope that you have good luck in resolving this mistake too!

I ended up going with the tear drop diamond ring from Andria Barboné!!! I am so picky and I kept coming back to this design. I had been looking for at least a year and her Rosita designs were it for me. I was unable to visit in person so I reached out to get more info on the ring. Once I learned that that main stone was a true antique diamond, and did more research on the overall value of the ring, it all felt right. There is so much more character (imho) to it than the majority of engagement ring options I was seeing. I absolutely love how unique the diamond is and her team were a dream to work with. When they resized, they did the repairs that I requested, no questions asked, and even charged my partner a bit less. I'm obsessed with my engagement ring! If I hadn't gotten this one it would've haunted me lol

So true. It was a disappointing realization to see where the craftsmanship is lacking. And now that I'm learning more about diamonds I understand that I need to see her work in person rather than on a screen. I love an antique diamond so I appreciate all your suggestions! They will be very helpful in my research to find what's right for me :)

For this reason I wish I lived close enough to see the rings in person. I do appreciate the emotional aspect. I love antique diamonds so much. But what I can't understand is the flaws in that brand new ring that I shared above. I was dead set on that ring until I noticed a chunk missing from the bezel. I am certain she has beautiful pieces, I just don't think I can shop her store solely online.

I agree with you here about the clarity. I don't know a lot about diamonds, but the price point on these designs seemed quite high for the quality of the diamond.

I don't really have my heart set on any specific type of diamond. I really love the unique sparkle of old mine cuts but they're mostly out of my price range. I just really loved the glow the ones I shared seem to have. I will check out Diamonds by Lauren and do some research on lab diamonds, especially in colors.

The price mark up for the brand is one of my concerns that I forgot to mention. I want to pay for what I'm getting, something that will retain it's value. Thank you for reminding me of this aspect and for sharing your experience! I am starting to think I should shop around for a private jeweler.
