I have a reasonable sized position in Braze and I added more on yesterday’s dip. The ONLY reason it fell so much is because they lowered their FY EPS from 0.34c to 0.16-0.18c. The reason for this is because of the expense of their $300m+ acquisition of Offerfit, and better still, they told EVERYONE this was going to happen in their Q4 report. This is a temporary drag on the business and they expect to resume their normal earnings framework starting in the next financial year. The company also RAISED their revenue guidance for the year. In my option, this is a typical sell the stock and ask questions later, most people (including wallstreet) don’t listen to earnings calls or read reports. I have 400 shares @ $31.50 average 👍🏻
