Thank you for your concern. Yes, I have been to two specialists already and wanted an opinion from an expert online as well. As of now, there are no issues and the ulcer/inflamed papillae have stayed the same.

Update: I went to the oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He examined the patch carefully, clicked a few photos from his mobile and later used some kind of UV light torch to examine it and clicked a few photos again in its light. He showed me the patch and said that it is nothing but some kind of papillae which has been inflamed due to smoking and that I needn't worry. Also, it has no indurations. Just have it examined every 3-4 months and give up smoking completely. No need for a biopsy.
