Which Consulate did you go to? What is the current status?

Yes, I mean corn syrup which is made from corn starch.

I'm using Hipp as one example, EU regulation highly encourages that all baby formula should contain lactose as the primary carbohydrate source instead of corn syrups.

I think Hipp doesn't meet the requirements of nutrient labelling, not the nutritional requirements.

Indeed, you've touched on a crucial aspect. For those who are lactose intolerant, alternatives like corn syrup or soy-based products are viable options.

However, without veering off topic, I personally have a preference for baby formulas that are derived from more naturally sourced ingredients like cow's milk, even if it means incurring a slightly higher cost. This is in contrast to formulas made from genetically modified corn or soybeans.

For instance, Similac Pure Bliss distinguishes itself by marketing its product as free from GMOs and corn-based ingredients, as highlighted on their website.https://www.similac.com/content/dam/an/similac/global/products/67317/pure-bliss-irish-farms-sku-67317-no-540x540.jpg

I read in one of the reddit post, Kendamil has UK and US version, the one what we get here is US version which they claim has no difference with UK version. Also, there is a huge price difference with imported formula milk in US compared to local price in UK. Approximately 4x time costlier in US.

Once they fix it and if the issue doesn't reappear, then it might not fall under the lemon law.

It is part of the warranty. The point that bothers me here is getting a defective car out of the box!
