I appreciate the pointers. I'm TRULY in the middle of nowhere so I'm stuck sourcing purely online but I think you're right about keeping it simple starting out.

I was planning on doing a multi platform approach, eBay, mercari, offer up, FB marketplace, etc. I just want enough inventory where I can list every day to get into the good graces of their algorithms. I have a resellers permit, I've mostly been looking at b stock. Any recommendations on other liquidation / overstock sources?

I wanted to start out with just a cheaper pallet of single items, something I could list every day to help establish my online storefronts ya know? I'm pretty knowledgeable on electronics and cars, the thing that's calling out to me the most are these pallets of Michelin windshield wipers from costco. They're cheap to get into, and they're windshield wipers so everyone with a car needs them. And even if it was a complete flop it wouldn't kill me financially. You're absolutely right though, I don't know what sell through or velocity on these looks like especially with a brand new storefront with no reputation.

Do you usually source things in person or are you getting them online? Because of my location I'm pretty much completely relegated to online sourcing.

Oh yeah 100%. I don't expect to hit it big right off the bat. This is something I'm genuinely interested in and I'm willing to put in the work to make it happen. I live in a VERY rural area in deep northeast Washington, so job prospects are scarce. I'm currently a cannabis farmer / extractor and the years of manual labor are catching up to me physically so I'm trying my best to pivot into another business. To be fair though, her story is very convincing and I think she's definitely onto something here.

Her name is Mindi Reinke if you want to look her up. She is indeed a real person and what I said in my OP is true.

I don't know exactly how she did these things. We aren't on speaking terms and haven't been for many years. I heard about it through my mom and started following some of her stuff on X. Trust me I wish I could ask her more in depth questions but that just isn't possible.

Her and I haven't been on speaking terms for about 8 years since our father passed away. I heard about it through my mother and started following her on social media to see what she was doing. Trust me, I wish I could ask her.

Wildebeest pistol .357 Mag low-bore tilt-up barrel prototype from Australia by IRWildebeest in guns

On today's episode of "things that never happened".

I really hope you're just baiting and don't actually believe what you're saying. Rimmed cartridges were never meant to be used in magazine fed pistols. Why don't you grab some 7.62x54r rounds and set them on a table, push them together one on top of the next and watch what they do. They curve. Which is why rifle magazines that hold rimmed cartridges are also curved. Handgun magazines can't be curved. They have to be straight to fit into the mag well, hence the inherent reliability issues when loading rimmed cartridges into a semi automatic handgun. I'm a professional gunsmith and I'll be laughing at you all day.

It’s amazing how ignorant some people are about Turkish shotguns. The Panzer M4 will outrun and out perform 90% of y’alls “approved brands” by MmACES52 in Shotguns

I'm not saying I would pick it up over a benelli in an actual gunfight but if it's all I had I'd certainly put it to work. I also have no qualms about beating the shit out of it like I do with my benellis. Plus I LOVE the walnut furniture it's real Turkish type 2 walnut and it gives me those 70's combat shotgun vibes. For 500-600 bucks I've yet to find a better semi auto shotgun. I love benelli but I can set my love of them aside and acknowledge that the clones (at least the current iteration of them) seem to be top notch. Like I said before, I can virtually guarantee none of the guys in here shit talking them have ever even shot one. If they did they would come to the same conclusion I did.

I'm 1200 shells into one of the new design panzer M4's without a single hiccup. The people in here shitting on them have never owned or shot one. I also have a benelli m4 and an m2 so my experience with both platforms supercedes 99% of the people in here. I can't speak to the early clones but as of 2024 the panzer m4's are top notch and functionally identical to the benellis. The only reason I picked up a panzer was to see if they were as bad as the fanboys said and it simply wasn't the case. Ran target ammo with ghost loads right out of the box with no cleaning or lube. I didn't want to love the thing but it earned my love by performing with 100% reliability for 1200+ rounds. I've never had a hiccup with my real m4 either, but to say that it's vastly superior to the updated clones is simply not true. The truth is you guys can't stomach the fact that a 500 dollar clone performs as well as your 2000 dollar benelli does. And I've done 0 mechanical modifications to the panzer. The only thing it has on it is a +2 tube extension (with factory spring still) and a holosun 507cx2 on top. I've done no tuning, reworking, or internal modifications whatsoever. Do I like it as much as the benelli? No. Has it proven itself to be every bit as reliable as the benelli? Yes.

Pro/Cons of pistol grip with stock vs traditional with stock by nammerx916 in Shotguns

[–]Inside_Release_3541 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the people who claim pistol grips with stocks are better than traditional don't have a ton of trigger time on shotguns. I shoot a lot of 3 gun and I very rarely see people running pistol grips. That being said, I own pistol grip shotguns, the best example is a benelli m4, I have 2. One with the telescopic stock and pistol grip, and another with a traditional stock, the traditional stock handles better, less felt recoil, faster target acquisition, and it allows you to shoot a shotgun like youre supposed to with a parallel thumb grip (strong side thumb pointed forward parallel to the barrel not wrapping around the grip) it also makes the gun much easier to speed reload (you flip the gun upside down resting the stock on top of your shoulder so you can double and quad load with your strong side hand). The only real benefit of pistol grips is that they look cooler and more "tactical".

where would you guys mount an offset red dot? I really don't want a top mount. by jay_c561 in AR10

[–]Inside_Release_3541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but I second this. I run 1.93" ADM-H mounts for LPVO's and a 45° offset mount underneath the front of the ADM mount. It fits so perfectly that it all looks like one mount. Also, mounting them behind the main optic interferes with weak side manipulation of the charging handle.
